    • @WherewegoingNext
      @WherewegoingNext  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We’ve never been to Jamaica, so I can’t weigh in on that. It depends what you prioritize in a vacation… BP Tulum is newly renovated and modern, whereas Barcelo Maya Palace has a more traditional look and feel. Tulum has a swimmable beach and awesome kids splash pad… Barcelo doesn’t have a swimmable beach, but u can access all the other Barcelos and use their beaches and amenities. Service and food is pretty comparable between the two 👍🏻

    I was there 12months ago in November. Sadly the beach is eroding away directly infront of Gran Tortuga. I used to sit there on the beach loungers. The beach next to that is now private. Which used to be the beach for Coba guests. I have been coming to this hotel for 7years and sadly the fast food and beach has put me off a little. The seaweed was another which you can see anytime of year...I've been in Feb/March and Nov/Dec with trucks removing the sargassum.

      @@NK-dn2fp it was great, we also went to Coba using their shuttles. Buffet at Coba has a better mix of food. Though it is nice to go to either. Staff are friendly. One thing to note is if you are going to coba for the pools, you cant get towels like you can in Tulum. So you may want to grab a few before going. Entertainment was always good. Also, you have to line up at the bar in a line..like isn’t the point of a bar to be able to crowd around it? that was annoying. Fridge always restocked and room always cleaned and the AC was a lifesaver to cool off. @@Pokekrew So your everyday options besides the buffet are the truck, andale burger, and the poolside snack. the truck and andale burger menus do not change and the poolside snack has something different everyday. As far as the restaurants go they are part of the all inclusive as well but you can only dine at those 3 times per week and each require a reservation which is difficult to acquire because the 8 or so restaurants serve all 4 resorts. If you want something particular your best bet is to try and reserve in advance but that is a task itself depending on how you booked your trip. If good dining will be a fixture of your stay I would personally recommend to stay elsewhere.
