    i must admit this is a great skyscraper. i admire china alot. yet again im american i have ALOT of pride and love new york etc. im sad that many americans are ignorant and do hope for a strong allience with china to creat greater cities and a greater world

    Thats the Jin Mao Tower, which is also the tallest hotel in the world. Jin Mao Tower is taller than the Empire State building.

    @ILoveGoodFellas There is a lot more work to do after constructing the floors.
    Windows, wiring, decorating, furnishing etc.
    They did it well.

    @blackflag1217 Yes but in the last ten years they have taken more people out of poverty than the entire population of the USA. Look at what China was 20 years ago, and what they are now. Poverty was 85% in 1981 and in 2005 it was 16% i find that amazing.

      Well, yeah. It used to be 3rd tallest building in the world (now 9th tallest building in the world) and tallest building/structure in China. Shanghai Tower is now the tallest building in China and the 2nd tallest building in the world.
