The video is so simple, yet gets the point across so well. As the song progresses, the dance moves become looser, the people in back get rowdier, and the vibe picks up. Just showing how everyone is progressively getting loose, feeling tipsy, and forgetting the world for a minute 🔥
People forgot how country music got its start from blues and being the music of the working person. This man embraced that origin and made an absolute banger for everyone to enjoy and have a great time to. Hell yeah Country music is for everyone Let’s grab a drink and have a party y’all
Long time country fan here. Love this song. The fusion of hip hop works surprisingly well and Shaboozys voice is distinctive. This guy has stumbled onto a great formula that can only bring urban and county closer.
@@JavyTHC how many of your babies want a burkin? 😂😂😂😂 Nah, hip hop has been the last resort for real music for decades. Not the pandering country machine. If you really want that, then go "Put Some Miles on it" lmao. Trash ass shit
The song is simple. The video is simple. And it is all damn near perfect. You can't help but smile and, at the very least, tap your foot along to the beat. This is how you blend rap/hip-hop/country in a smooth way where nobody is arguing what genre it fits in. It is just a good, simple, fun song that anybody can nod along to.

'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' has constantly been on the radio here in the UK for several months. It's a brilliant song! And I remember the J Kwon one that this is based on. That was huge over here as well about 20 years ago!!! I was 13 at the time! :')
Honestly I haven't really listened to the lyrics to this song up until now, this is real... Such a unique song... Life is such a struggle and we are all out here working our fingers to the bone to provide for the family we created, I know it's hard but remember there's always green grass on the other side of that hill just waiting ,keep your head up and keep pushing even when it's hard, don't give up on yourself or those that care about you the most! This song is a vibe!!
After seeing about 150K+ people at the Kentucky Derby (all walks of life) dancing and singing (screaming) every single word to this song when it played between two of the races, I was sold! Churchill Downs knew it would be a big crowd pleaser, and they played the live fan reactions on all the TV’s and screens, including the 170’x90’ Jumbotron. They showed ladies in Millionaire’s Row with their glasses of champagne dancing and singing along, then the shirtless frat boys in the infield jumping up and down while yelling the lyrics with their aluminum Budweiser bottles up in the air, they caught the governor’s wife and her guests “breaking it down” to the best of their white abilities, they caught the ESPN and TVG media personalities (during a commercial break/rest) enjoying themselves and singing along while simultaneously dodging their hair/makeup teams trying to freshen them up, but my favorite (and the crowds too) was when the cameras narrowed in on a hot walker and he had the horse moving to the beat of the song and bobbing its head as if it was dancing. I swear all 150K+ yelled and cheered when that was shown on EVERY SCREEN at Churchill Downs. It was just a feel good moment and honestly, one of my favorite parts about the Derby this year.
*Thank you for sharing this. I hope somehow Shaboozey is made aware of the love the world has for him for bringing a song and putting a smile on the face of the world. Blessings*!
This is going to move up on so many different charts. I'm a hard metal guy but I have to put this one on my play list. Great beat, lyrics and a very catchy hook. This is, and will be a monster hit for Shaboozey. Beautiful song. Peace and love from S. Oregon. Blaze up!

Dude i swear something about Shaboozey's voice is so good on this song, even without the instrumental. Its got a perfect amount of grit in it, and Shaboozey does an amazing job on this song. I might listen to his other stuff
Heard this for the first time today. I went through a lot of different emotions. First the opening riff……Oasis Wonderwall, then the country sound and lyrics pulled me in, his voice sounds great and then the “Tipsy” lyrics slapped me back to 2004-2005. Amazing!!!
