Toei is a Japanese company that was founded on 8th June 1938 as Tokoyo Eiga. On 1st October 1949, the Tokyo Film Distribution Company was incorporated. They would then be purchased by Tokoyo Eiga on 1st October 1950. Tokoyo Eiga also purchased Ōizumi Films, which would eventually become Toei on 1st April 1951.
You know when you see those waves crashing behind that logo your gonna see a violent yakuza movie, a fucked up movie or just a good ass movie in general and there's no in between

This Toei logo of the waves crashing also looks familiar...add the waves crashing and Mount fuji...then we get Katsushika Hokusai's *Great Wave off Kanagawa* and other Japanese wave artwork
This logo got me into graphic design, when I was 9 years old. I didn't even knew what the fuck design was, but I was sure I wanted to make stuff like that.

Toei produces the "Super Sentai" franchise, which is the basis of Hasbro's "Power Rangers" series. They also produced "Voltes V", which is a favorite anime among Filipinos like me, among with "Daimos" and "Combattler V".
P.S.: Speaking of "Voltes V", Toei also produced the live-action series adaptation under the title "Voltes V: Legacy" with GMA Network and their Filipino licensor, Telesuccess Productions.

Super Sentai isn’t internationally known, if anything it’s bashed/forgotten by being half assed into Power Rangers. If it was, people will acknowledge it’s name along with it being the OG, especially in the states for example.

There were two different versions of that: 2nd Toei (Dai-Ni Touei), formed in 1960, which soon became New Toei (Nyuu Touei), which is the short-lived unionized version of Toei. It became New Toei when it absorbed Shintoho (the unionized version of Toho, which closed its doors in 1960) in 1961. It was disbanded in 1963, when the management suggested to Toei producer Hiroshi Okawa that it was superfluous.
Two notable tokusatsu movies were made under these banners: WORLD WAR III BREAKS OUT (1960), as 2nd Toei, and SPACE GREYHOUND/INVASION OF THE NEPTUNE MEN (1961), as New Toei.

Yeah, the final background is literally just the the crashing waves seen in the logo xD
Zenkaigers were made 'tooo cheap'. While baddies (Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo) are made ON BUDGET (look at Monsters of the Week.. the World Monsters, acting suits are made interchangeables. look at Kudaiter, Kudaitests and MoTWs. In the past each of these respective counterparts didn't have multipart suits with interchangeable parts.), combat scenes in many episodes didn't look so neat. I'm not sure if they spent too much cash on different project and thus Zenkaigers got budget cut regardless of that it ran for a full year season without being terminated.
