For instant, when they went into a new town, he slept outside Claire's door to prevent any drunk men to wander upstairs. 2. She even suggested for him to come inside where it was warmer and sleep on her floor and he REFUSED to sleep in Claire's bedroom because he did not want her reputation to be ruined! 3.
