thank you for sharing. Such a good and underrated device. I use the ER1+EA1 together all the time. They are so simple and surprisingly versatile for grooving and bugging out! cheers to ya!

Totally agree. Some machines just nail that fun and productive combo. Yes, it can’t do everything but I use it in a load of songs.

    Great video.
I still have this in my drum machine arsenal. I remember buying an Er-1, Es-1, and Ea-1 about 16 years ago-$40 bucks each. I had sold my original ea-1 but repurchased with such a deal. I still have them (I buy and sell a lot of gear so it says a lot if I keep something). This is a fun little box and I have used it in live sets before and it still inspires..

Oh man, $40 is so crazy. They're pretty cheap today for what you get but $40 is something else hahahahaha

Love the video. I've been meaning to try something like this out and the video will help.

Nice! I will have both the ER-1 and EA-1 on the way, being shipped. Glad to see the ER -1 working with other gear like the Volca Drum and NuBass which I also have. Should be fun!

@@craigwilliamsmusic Yeah they both came and I hooked them together. What a combo! Lots of great options with playing and live tweaking.

Why does the delay on the ER1 have to effect the entire pattern? I wish the ER1 delay could be used only on specific parts. And each part have its own delay value.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the 3rd party firmware update allows a little more flexibility in that area.

What was the overlooked feature? The ER1 sounds ghastly

What it sounds great! This was a great video. I own a mk2 , it's a drum synth so you can mold any sound in it!

Thats the beauty of equipment, you might hate the sound and I love it. Something for everyone!

Thank you, I love this drum machine. It might not be the ultra fancy one but it's super fun to use and fits into most productions.

I don't get what the "overlooked" feature is either. I own an ER-1.
