Love my 50mm. Has created some of the most unique images Ive been able to create. If you're thinking of picking one up, I highly recommend a monitor so you can check focus or shoot at a deeper f-stop so you get a little room for error! Love seeing consumers getting great tools like these anamorphics!

Couple questions (awesome vid, as always):
1. For the shots that showed the lens, and the closeup shots (your face, computer screen, etc.), I’m guessing you used a non-anamorphic lens and kept it at the anamorphic aspect ratio?
2. I’m always amazed at how you’re able to get shots of yourself from distance that still have YOU in focus (hiking, climbing, etc.). How do you do that? 🤔😁

one thing that no one talks about but changed me as a videoman. investing in good gear gives me security, why? because i know its my fault if im not happy with the result and il never have to ask myself if its the hardware wich is very very helpful, i found so at least. focus more on creating and not what you "need" to create

In my experience it's ok to just film what you are doing and keep good composition. It will be fine in editing and you'll be amazed how it turns out
