I really hope EG listens (and cares) about the issues Warpforge is still a game with potential but a small playerbase. If they continue to act like this the playerbase will get even smaller until the game slowly dies.
I don't understand how no one is talking about the Tau Vanguard Swarm. Just loads of vanguard, you make drones free, give them shield. Its so annoying to face and very few decks have an answer for it.
Swarmlord needs a talent rework, getting a "draw a synapse card if you dont have any troops" or even a 1+1 to himself in attack distance/melee would be good
It should be like the OTA(over the air) in marvel snap. Every two weeks they just tweak the cards value, be it cost, dmg... It can be anything at this point for warpforge, just do something
Balance is always something that can be tweaked a fixed but at the moment it is out of control. The hot fixes would alleviate these long patches of unplayability. I spend a good portion of my time on the game collecting cards(missions/drafts/pink shard grinding. I would love to see an improvement on the forge(locking key defense cards behind paywalls). The main way to collect cards as of this moment is by doing limited missions for boosters in a faction or praying for drops from drafts/all armies boosters. I would like to see the shop opened up with more options to buy cards outright. My biggest suggestion is to put specific factions boosters up for sale with pink shards. This will allow people to play the game as long as they like without feeling like they should log off after their daily draft and missions.
Here's what I would do for original chaos warlords, abaddon - you get to pick which dark gift you grant to a troop. Same for haarken, you pick which gift you want, but it still goes to random troop . Now for Sylar, lil bit different. The powers effect depends on which target you cast it on. On your warlord u get the hp/melee dmg power, on your troop you get the dark gift power of your choice, on any enemy it randomly selects enemy and deals 2-3 dmg. Also, I would change dark gift of blood to give 1 hp and 1 melee instead of 2 melee.
Marvel Snap regularly buffs and nerfs brand new cards, and while some people may feel jaded as they paid money for that card, ultimately the health of the game matters more. Also, Snap has a good reputation for not nerfing cards into the ground, but rather changing them to fill a role that no other card fills.
I'd like to see large buffs to other Chaos Warlords or just general changes to the faction that somehow wouldnt benefit Abbadon because I think its quite boring to have a faction where only 1 warlord is viable and I think of all the factions Black Legion has only ever had 1 viable warlord even after getting a reinforcement pack, Black Legion I believe also has the honour of being the only faction to have never been nerfed. I think an interesting concept is instead of heavy handed nerfs EG should take bad cards and try to buff a lot of them into S tier, change other unusable warlords and stir up some Chaos in the meta and see what settles because as we stand now with the general minor changes they make its pretty easy for people to predict what's going to be strong and toxic/stagnant metas are established. Basically Ultramarines wouldnt be OP if everyone had ridiculous stuff. One thing to note is that Pootis is the #1 ranked player in Warpforge right now and his Varro deck doesnt even run the mana cheat cards for early predators besides the legendary card and the real problem I've had with running that deck is that its very good if you have it in your starting hand or you can draw it right away but as the game progresses it turns into a very bad card because you cant afford the tempo loss of playing it in most circumstances as well as Drawing it using Varro's spell draw function when you want removal or whatever else can just lose you the game. As it stands I think a major problem also is that Space Marines probably by far got the best reinforcement pack, followed by Orks, so I guess another issue the game is seeing is that if a faction gets a bad reinforcement pack they are functionally screwed because as it stands I dont think any reinforcement cards have been changed in any patch with the exception of Gordrang.
The "show me how many cards you have" is driving me crazy, at least if it just work in one tinie tiny spot it would be bearable, but it's always different spot where it's working... Also mission counters are not working correctly, I just did "Collect 10 spirit stones" mission, ended the game with 11 stones (all from my dead infantry) just to be sure and game tells me that I collected 9...
EG should collect data how often one or another cards are including in actual players decks in high ranked multiplayer games. If no one plays specific card, that means that this card is garbage and needs to be reworked. Half of the eldar roster is trash, obliterator, small cultist for 1E, Stompa, rokkit boy and the list just goes on and on. There are a lot of cards that you'll never see in ranked.

You could defeat any other meta before, even after the tau release i could put together 4-5 decks, that have a very good chance to winning, but this is rly just unplayable, and you could only have any % to win with an ork control deck...
I am playing ranked with Shadowsun, and winning game, but i feel like i lose years of my life each time i enter matchmaking, it really is a masochistic endeavor, every time i get matched with a bot is like finding an oasis "Oh thank god Orikan the diviner!", i don't even care if i lose, because at least i know it either was an honest fight, or i played badly, it honestly has come to the point in which losing against a bot feels better than winning against Ultramarine players
With the introduction of alliances i went and made one myself, just to secure the name and quickly found myself in a very awkward situation, since ranked games are such a miserable experience there's no way for me to gauge what kind of quality members i am getting Are they new players? are they players suffering the unfairness of ranked play in which you rise very slowly and fall super fast? or are they just avoiding playing rank at all because the meta sucks? I also considered inviting friends but, i stopped myself, because as i climbed with Shadowsun out of sheer stubbornness i found myself kind of hating the game, only having a bit of fun when matched against bots, so how could i have the face to invite people to join in, if i myself am considering leaving? I wondering if putting entry point limits to an alliance would make sense, but again, if playing ranked sucks, that's not a fair reason to deny entry or to kick someone, but at the same time, how can you know if a player is actually playing the game? what if they just went in and lost 10 games in a row, because Neurothrope is their favorite warlord, and they don't have a complete collection for other factions? What was a fun addition to the game, has now become this very unsatisfying and honestly anguishing experience, because i want a strong alliance when everyone can climb together and have fun, but that's not something you can do in the game, and there's also no way to know who is under what circumstances, did they uninstall? are they a casual player? are they bad? or are they a victim of the meta? At best you can just see that a player is new to the game, and if the next step for alliances is competitive medals, that would make things harder for new players, because they have less resources to compete and help out in an alliance, wish would make things even more unfair to them, it is really a very unpleasant situation that just so happen to hit in the middle of a horrendous meta
@@Doomroar it's a result of launching an unfinished feature. Alliances in HHL are far more rounded and allow taking part in events, unique prizes etc. Whilst not perfect and leading to tiering they're vastly superior to what E.G. launched in Warpforge. I assume we'll be drip fed some new feature every 2-3 months.
I tried to play that game on mobile because I play hhl on my phone. Soo that game is an amazingly horrable on mobile devices. It destroys CPU battery n makes your mobile like furnace. I got Samsung galaxy s 21 pro but still it does that. What come about gameplay, it's not balanced n there is a lot of bugs. Yeap you're right about that 100%. That comes to my conclusion, thats just a bad game which dont get devs attention. That leads me to just dont play that n kiil my thirst of warhammer n card games with hhl. By the way, hll gets much more care from devs than that soo maybe they just dont want you player to play that game. Donno... that my personal opinion
Go to the settings and lower details to minimum, it should work fine. I did it on my ancient iPhone X and games work good (well, heat is the issue after few games when it's 30 C in my room, but not in "normal" conditions).
