You are great at this. I wouldn't mind having the Eono and the Artecho. When I travel I tend to sketch a lot and the square erasers although they work what you have shared has given me better options. Thank you 👍🏽☺️

Great to hear the video was helpful. Both are very good and I think they are both made by a company called Tenwin and then re-branded.

I recently bought the rechargable one, but I'm still waiting for it as I ordered it from overseas. I had a Derwent one but it broke so for a while I've been using a really cheap generic one. I'm glad that you are reassuring my choice.

Thankypu so much for the comment and I'm so glad the video was helpful. I've been using my rechargeable one for over a year now and I'm still really happy wotj ot.

I have the Jakar and Derwent and one that appears identical to the Artecho but mine has the name Tihoo on it. It's easily the best battery eraser I have used. I agree with the value of the Jakar. My Derwent gave up the ghost some time ago even though it had very little use. Like their coloured pencils and pastels I think they leave a lot to be desired.

Totally agree, I gave up with Derwent pencils years ago! With most of the erasers they do seem to be re-branded products. I did do some research and the Artecho and the Tihoo as well as many other brands appear to be made by a company called Tenwin. I've been using the Artecho for over a year now and it has been by far the best one I have ever used. Being able to use the 2 tip sizes is really useful, it's nice to hold, the motor is very smooth and of course being rechargeable is great.

You seem to prefer rechargeable, but that means it has limited lifespan once it won't hold the charge? I still prefer batteries which be replaced -i can still use rechargeable batteries.

Thanks for the comment the Thoo is basically same eraser but takes batteries. I have do no a bit of research and both apear to be mad by a company called Tenwin so I would say that that may be the best option if you prefer battery operated. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

Thank you, another informative video. I have the Derwent eraser and used regularly for whiskers, it has quickly lost its ‘sharpness’ and has become rounded, both ends. I have spares but still plenty of eraser left in the barrel.
What would be the best way to get it back to its original flat ‘endedness’ (is there such a word?).

Just simply hold the eraser vertically and then lightly press down and this will re-establish an edge on the eraser, so I would say as soon as you see it starting to round, just do this. You can do this on a piece of scrap paper and this will keep the edge nice and sharp. I hope this is of help. 😊

The Koh-I-Knor version sucks it's build quality is awful and falls apart.

    I don't have an electric eraser😔

One thing you can do is to cut an angle on a normal eraser and that will give you a fine edge, if you need something more abrasive you can do the same thing on a pen eraser as they are more gritty. Electric erasers are not essential and I will usually only use them for cleaning out whiskers on cats 😊
