Wow!! I mean…WOW!!! From the truck to the trailer to the upgrades, this is my idea of absolute perfection!! Definitely a new subscriber here. This whole setup is gorgeous. Very, very nice and my favorite, so far. Love this series, JD!!
Great video. Amazing upgrades. You seem like you know what you are doing towing that trailer with that truck. Since you are at you max towing capacity, I'm recommending you upgrade to a 3/4 or 1 ton single rear wheel truck, with a minimum of 2,ooo lbs. payload capacity. Since I've watched EVERY video from BTBRV, I think he would agree with me.
I am certain that he would agree. I knew I might catch some flac but that’s ok. We are close to our limits both towing capacity and gcvwr and I would like to upgrade to a 3/4 ton when we can. As for now we are doin ok and I weight the setup carefully to keep it even. Thank you for watching our video. It means the world to us !

Yeah i saw a V sag at the hitch when hooked up, either beef up the truck- look at hellwig and superspring or trade up. Maybe redistribute some weight to the rear if you can.
Hey BRBRV please do the math on this set up!! 1,850 payload with a 11k plus rig? With tool box+ 45 gal aux tank? Even with bare bones excess at 12-15%gvwr would YOU re omens that set up?
Have the same truck and similar camper, truck is way under rated from Nissan. My camper is 10000 loaded and stable and sure footed as can be. This truck is more than capable of what he is towing.
Home on The Hitch this makes me really happy seeing someone use this truck for actual towing. I recently got a 2017 Titan XD Cummins Platinum Reserve and plan to tow a 5th wheel (going to change to Reese Goosebox and use stock gooseneck hookups.) around the same weight as your trailer with it. First gotta do the custom exhaust, tunes, and helper bags. How’s the truck handle the weight on large hills? (Live near mountain passes) I imagine with your 90+ HP it’s sitting at a pretty healthy torque figure.
I like their honest opinion on all the things in their RV and why they modified things. It's better to hear from someone who has experience with the rv although I really love your reviews. But it's obvious you can't test them all out. Love the channel!
