Ryan, your story is very inspiring to me and I can really relate. I’m an immigrant, moved to the US in 2010. I moved from having hundreds of friends and being close to my family to not speaking fluent English, having zero friends, not knowing Los Angeles / Orange County at all and having only my father around. 8 years later, and 4 years of hard work in the real estate industry, I now own a real estate brokerage (nobody knows about, kind of like what you were describing in another video), with 2 agents on my team, and working even harder to make sure I can accomplish my big dreams of someday doing what you do. Becoming a successful broker, inspiring other people to chase their dreams, and maybe even be on TV someday. Thanks for all you do, the world appreciates it.

While I do not have much sales experience, I imagine being so focused on your product or service can blind a salesmen and prevent them from actually understanding what a (potential) client is going through. Understanding the client not only builds rapport, but also ensures they are providing the best quality product or service.
