Sunset fishing at the dock on Lake Winnsboro, East Texas. This video is my first shot in N-RAW in 60p and 12-bit 8K on my Nikon Z9! I used a 20mm f/1.8 lens with a graduated ND filter and a Røde stereo mic. Processed and uploaded to YT in 12-bit.

One thing I have noticed with the 12-bit NRaw is that it has nowhere near the dynamic range that I am familiar with Nikon NEF RAW files, even the 14 bit versions. I know that this new sensor is actually 16 bit, but with the extreme brightness of the Sun and the auto settings (aperture priority) the ISO was never less than 800. I did notice a lot of noise and not much detail in the shadows with the 12 bit RAW files. It's also 60p, so the shutter speed is forced to be higher than that. But I am a humble hobbyist and nowhere near an expert (nor do I have a calibrated monitor), so take anything I write with a grain of salt!
