- Mike and I started this journey in January of 2017. What started as a simple passion project to make fun golf videos of amazing courses has taken us to places we would never have imagined back then. Through the years we've been blessed to be able to meet so many great people and experience so many amazing courses. If there's anything you take away from our journey its this: do what you love and do it with conviction. The rest will take care of itself.

Props to Coach and everyone else on the vids for keeping the channel going with new content and different courses all while dealing with COVID which makes even the simple things more complicated. As someone who has watched since the creation of the channel, I appreciate all the hard work going in to it and I hope you can continue to double-down on the content and keep it up! As always, I love it when the Big Cat can get back on and enjoy watching B-ski bomb it, too! Side note, that is some solid golf that Mike (Dir. of Golf) is playing! #baller Looking forward to the rest of the vids from the trip!

This is a slice of golfing heaven and worth the pilgrimage. It's views for days with a superb golf challenge to match. I'll likely never beat the feeling of a 76 on the Straits with a steady flow of a Lakefront IPA every 3 holes - perfect pH balance for my game that day!

Love autumn golf. Its the one thing I miss being here in Queensland and not in Scotland. Crisp afternoons, trees changing colour and good golf.

Played the Whistling courses with my buddies a couple months ago. Definitely enjoyed The Straits but The Irish was indeed my favorite. Looking forward to seeing how the guys do on this gem!

I live in Milwaukee and go up the whistling straights a couple times every year, did you guys get to play the river course? Glad to see you guys make it out to the Midwest, Wisconsin has lots of amazing courses. Hopefully you enjoyed your time and will come back. You still need to play Sand Valley and Erin Hills (my personal favorite). Look forward to the back nine vlog and hopefully you got to see the sheep on 16-18. They were on 18 tee box last time I was there. And you normally can’t drive the carts off the path, guess a perk of play with the gold director 😆
Nice! Another bucket list track in the books eh? If I remember right, you guys said you wanted to get up an play at Pumpkin Ridge in Oregon. Just played out there a couple of weeks ago, and if you guys are going to make it up there, I would definitely do it in autumn, those colors on the course are amazing this time of year!

It's been a long time but I've played the River and Meadow Courses at WS from the tips. Beautiful courses with wonderful greens. Coach and Matt hit the ball well but Mike's local green knowledge is tough to beat. Better luck on the back nine.
Looks like great course only thing needed for it to be better would be to have Paris there!

I enjoy your content. I follow you and Mr Short Game. I was wondering if you could show the difference of you playing of the tees just before the ladies tee and the back tee. This is my first year playing. I would love to see what 300 yard drives would look like from the two position. one par 5, and 2 par 4's.

You need to play the straights, wolf run, and Erin Hills. Wisconsin has so much to offer.
15:13 - I've done this many many times. I can't decide whether it's hitting off the hosel, off the toe, or if the face is just open. What's odd is, if I do that at the range, the next 4 or 5 will be just like it.
What a gorgeous course! Wasn’t this supposed to be the site of the (postponed) Ryder Cup this year? Not sure if it was this to be on this course or their Straits course.
BTW the Mike you played with sure has a swing designed for the wind. Short and quick. He looks to be a really solid player.
Ryder Cup will be on the Straights. They played it as well and the 2 blackwolf run courses in Kohler, but videos not out yet.

What did you guys enjoy more overall, Whistling Straights or Bandon Dunes, because my dad and I want to make a trip to one of the two this summer and can’t decide on the move.
Both are amazing, the course conditions and greens go to whisling straits but more spread out. Bandon everything is on site, cant go wrong with either
The course looks fantastic. I bet it would have been a better round if it was a little warmer. You guys both seemed to be off with the putter. Better luck on the back side.

Whistling Straits is an excellent course..I usually play in early September, in between Salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, which happens to be the end of season... But if you think The Irish is amazing, then you need to walk The Straits..Because you don't get scenery like that in southern California..

Coach's swing is kind of reminiscent of Hogan style with both hands closer to body.
Matt clearly off on this day. I’ve seen that guy play some very very good golf. Course looks difficult, and with the wind, vicious.
