- In this video, I will show you how to thread your sewing machine.
Most of the problems we experience while sewing are as a result of threading our sewing machines incorrectly. Some of these problems are: skipped stitches, thread breakage, thread bunching up and irregular stitches.
The first thing you should check if you are experiencing any problems while sewing is whether your machine is threaded correctly.

Wow! That takes a long time to thread. Long enough that the boss will start asking questions why its taking so long to start work.
It’s not that long. It’s just a pattern and once you master it, you’re good!!
You don’t have to start from the beginning every time you want to re-thread.
Cut the old thread (don’t pull it out yet), Put your new thread in the spool pin, knot it with the old one, raise your machine foot, and pull the thread down till the new thread gets to the eye of the needle, cut it and then re-insert! Easy right?

To regulate the speed, you have to check your machine manual. There is a motor under the machine table that has an up/down arrow.
To make a back stitch, you have to press down the hand pedal that is right underneath the stitch length knob

Please show me how to wind bobbin without the needle moving up and down
Unfortunately, my machine doesn’t have that feature. The needle moves when I’m winding the bobbin. However I always unthread the needle and hold on to the thread in order to prevent thread jam.
Alternatively, while you’re sewing, you can wind an empty bobbin using the second spool pin. The machine has that feature. It can multitask.
Please tell me how roll bobin that goes underneath?

I needed this, the only however problem I have is that you did not put the bobbin into the case with the bobbin turning counterclockwise as normally required on all machines? Or is this machine the other way around? I have only known the counter (anti) clockwise turning of bobbins inside the cases.... Thanks again for your help! You are a excellent teacher!

For both my machines, the manual instructs that it is put clockwise. I just had to check the manual again to confirm this.

Hello, is your machine a zig-zag stitch or straight-stitch? If it is just a zig-zag stitch machine, I'm afraid you may not be able to change it to a straight-stitch BUT if it has both functions, please check the manual to know how to change the stitch or you can call the store where you bought it for assistance. My machine is a straight-stitch machine so I may nit be able to advise further. ❤
