Very nice!
There was one of these, black too,for sale where i am a few months ago.... seriously would have got it if that bastard lotto came in! Beautiful cars. Your VS is amazing too. I had one back in the day, only a six but i do miss it.
Thank you for the kind comments
Mint brother
Vvv cool car
Nice CV8, just noticed you have the Z or CV8R tail lights but the HSV instrument cluster and dash gauges. Any particular reason that the gauges and cluster were swapped out?as they would have been all matching red gauges from the factory
You have a very good eye my friend! Yes I changed the tail lights for the R/Z tinted style and the gauges to the the HSV style and got the odometer to match to the car. Yes it did come with the red style gauges but the HSV look so much better in my opinion. I have kept all the original parts.
Luvinz
Was that factory sunroof?
I got a factory sunroof added when they were available.
Does it effect the roof
@@damianmooney5079No it’s a factory sunroof
I am an Aussie living in LA and have a 2006 GTO WITH THE LS2 motor 6.2 manual, black on black was reading on the gto forums not to add a sunroof because it changes the roof appearance tgg he sat why I am asking. Ty for your replies
LUMINA?
Nice car but it's a automatic
Your a flop
@@darcyrogers3025 lol how kind of you.
Yes it is and I didn't want a manual as when looking for one I wanted Black with Red leather and auto. I have had manuals all my life and still have one as you can see In my other videos.
@markstella8723 fair enough I wasn't totally putting it down.
I too drove manual all my life and like you wanted a certain colour so go a ve ss l98 automatic.
It's being a pain in the ass from day 1. I've had it rebuilt with H/P clutches, billet piston, zip pack, brand new TCM tuned at Holden and its still rubbish. So a conversion is happening soon as I've done so much to my car it's not worth selling and starting again. At the moment having issues with crankshaft sensor. It's brand new genuine so think it's wiring.
Take care
@@dcr1545 I didn't take offence to your comment all good. Have you done much work to your 6.0 litre? because you can get a 6L80E built good from the right people. When you say rubbish, do mean you keep on blowing boxes?
