Curbside Pickup at Home Depot and Lowe's

  • If you're curious on how curbside pickup works, I'll walk through the process with you here. We are in some crazy times, but you can still get your projects done TODAY if needed (although I am also a huge Amazon shopper).
    The process is simple:
For Home Depot Click HERE: homedepot.com/c/curbside_pickup
    For Lowe's Click HERE: lowes.com/l/store-pickup.html
    For Amazon Click HERE: amzn.to/3dcNgjM
Find your item, go to cart, and select Store Pick-up.
Once your order is submitted, they will send you an email confirming your order and will give you a call or email letting you know that the order is ready to be picked up. They both gave me a 1 month time frame which is insane.
Drive over to Lowe's or Home Depot, call the number they gave you in the email and tell them the order number. BOOM they will be outside and put it in your vehicle without you have to step out and get within 6 feet.
It's a beautiful thing to be able to social distance but still get your work done around the house during this awful quarantine.
    Thanks!

I used Lowes and Home Depot curbside pickup. Home Depot was far better organized. I parked in curbside and called to let them know I arrived. HomeDepot had phone lines dedicated to curbside pickup. They answered and brought out items quickly. At Lowes I called and was passed to the main operator over and over and eventually was connected to an answering service. Called four times and finally walked inside and had to wait in a long line.

That's not a good experience. Luckily Lowe's delivered mine then.
I tried to sign up for the Home Depot affiliate but they declined me, how'd yours go?

@@KellyConcepts Sorry, but for people who are trying to LEARN how this works from START to FINISH this, like SO MANY, really isn't very helpful. I tried this ONCE for the first time this week at a grocery store after recent hip surgery (after I watched a bunch of videos). I downloaded the app and placed my order - no big deal, 25 items. I had to wait almost a full day, after it was conveyed that my order would be ready in 2-3 hours. I waited for texts but only received emails. After waiting 3 hours I got a text stating that my order would not be ready until the following day at noon due to their being overwhelmed & sorry. Ok. No milk for morning coffee, UGH. The following day I kept checking my email and the status was in limbo- "received". Finally at around 10:00 it moved to "in progress" and by 11:00 or so it was ready for pick up. I sent a text back to the text # I got to tell them I was on my way with the description of my car. I was at the parking spot within 7 minutes but nobody came out for 20 minutes and I was completely helpless. I called the number on the text and was on hold with Ingnora-cart for ANOTHER 15 minutes just trying to get the phone number for the store and FINALLY I gave up. I had to take my cane and hobble into the store anyway. I wish SOMEONE would post a video that REALLY explains the entire process for beginners, FROM THE VERY BEGINNING TO THE TIME THEY BRING THE STUFF TO YOUR CAR and stipulates that SOME STORES AND SOME APPS ARE FAR SUPERIOR at curbside pickup than others.
I don't care WHAT people buy, frankly. Most of these videos are about what people are putting in their FRIDGES & PANTRIES! LOL!
I can't wait until I can walk again and be done with this, but thanks for trying. Peace.

@@KellyConcepts is this really the solution to skip looking for the right cart, hauling a bunch of heavy lumber, going across the store looking for screws or paint an not having to worry about someone taking my cart an removing my stuff, and waiting in line.. 😏

My curbside pick ups went about as smoothly as yours but the first one I had to wait two days to get the items and the second one took over a week!

That's crazy. They must've not had it in stock at the store?

@@KellyConcepts no, they had it in stock, they just received so many orders they could not keep up. They had a 1300 backlog of orders i was told when i got there

Thanks for the vid. Be careful. Print your order, check to see if it's correct and submitted. When you get emails back from them about your order, (there can be multiple, 5 my last order), check it again. Take your printed order with you when you pick up. Ideal situation; when they come out, you load it yourself and a buddy has the list and checks stuff as it comes. Used this service three times in 2020 had a shortage, (not major $), two times. Would I use the service again, yes, but I'll be checking the order minutely.
