I've searched high and low for a compatible charger with no luck. I did find a mains charger for the camera, but had to send it back because it was faulty. Cheers.
Go to Amazon and in the search enter Sony NP battery charger. Look for the ones where you can plug in to a wall socket rather than just usb type. This type are better and charge a little bit quicker. Good luck.

I believe you wont be disappointed. It's a good all round camera and if you purchase the large battery you can video for hours! (the wifi connection to a tablet or cellphone is handy)
Very useful. I have a couple of questions. We have one of these and the HDMI port recently broke :-( 1. Do you know where I can source a replacement HDMI port or who can do it for me in England? 2. It has an SDI output port but it has never worked. How can I activate this? 3. Is there any other way I ca out from this camera into our video mixer? I appreciate your help on this.
These cameras have to go to Sony professional camera repairs. Search out Sony UK and ring them, they will give you the number. You will have to pay a deposit up front for the repair. I would think the hdmj port is direct on to a card inside the camera and us possibly a matter of unplugging and replacing.
António Alexandre Ribeiro-Tony R. Select menu. Scroll down to the TC/UB SET. that is shown as four zeros in a box. Press set. Scroll down to TC preset. Press set. Scroll down to reset and press set. Counter will zero. Press menu to exit.
+henry cuevas open menu. Scroll down to the musical note. Press set. Scroll down to audio rec level and press set. Select rec level mode. Make sure normal is selected. When it is press menu. This is like an auto setting and should be ok providing you are not too far away. I use this setting a lot. Hope it helps.

How do i make the bnc connection work? I connected it to my video converter for vmix program to live stream and nothing. Is there a setting within the menu to make this bnc work? I made the hdmi work, but would like to broadcast this to another monitor 100 feet way.
Can i see the internal memory data on the lcd screen? For example, the videos? Is there a setting that allows me to see or playback the videos in the camera lcd?
What data do you want to see? It will show record time running and minutes. You can watch the recorded video (scenes) back on the LCD screen. The menu for this is complicated. The best way is to assign the focus magnifier/Assign 2 button (located above the on/off/record button) to review the last scene. Page 47 of the manual.

shailendra Singh to answer your question, the Sony HXR-MC2500E model can shoot at 25fps. This model camera is the PAL Video type.

Go to audio menu. HDMI TC OUTPUT try with it off. Then if that not work try it on.
The camera must be set in DV mode for it to work.

Tried it with dv mode on and off no go and then hdmi tc output off and on mixing the settings both ways and still a no go any other suggestions?
