I’m absolutely shocked, this is wonderful. I’m a violinist, I heard a lot of violinists. But this performance is different, there’s no notes witch are played without thought. This ability to control a phrase, sound, everything… Bravo 👏
The violinist looks exactly like the young Vieuxtemps redivivus. I'd have to say that this is the best version I have seen, very pleasing, and the guitar works even better than the piano as a musical partner. 100+++ It's certainly the most musical version. Bravo! gentlemen. Kreisler is smiling.
This is definitely one of the best renditions of all time. I appreciate that the violinist maintains a silken tone throughout. It sounds wonderfully elegant and tasteful.
@@stringplayer2992 Thanks for finding merit in my observation. But it's hard to argue with basic mathematics; right? :-) Yeah, three years! I've been pondering your comment ever since then for an appropriate response, and after all this time that was the best I could come up with. :-)
Starts off so calm. Almost understated. Then it releases during the "cadenza", turning up the heat toward the ending climactic return of melody. Very effective!
I mean, the violinist is muted and playing through a video rather than in-person, but he has a nice, clear tone with a good degree of warmth. A nice rendition!
beautiful !!! great playing ,,, i would love to know wich microphone was used for this recording ,,,, thanks a lot for any info ,,,,, the sound is great

really nice, but I feel like more expression in the beginning portion will make this performance amazing. Take more time with those quarter notes, and charge each one with a fire
the guitar accompaniment is brilliant

Bravísimo!!!!!!!!!!! Magnífica interpretación, llena de sentimiento y virtuosismo. El acompañamiento de la guitarra le da un color único. Excelente!

@tavya mccoy
But isn't every rendition one of the best of all time? They are all in the top 100%, after all. :-)
@@someguy6579 Dang, was this really 3 years ago? But haha yes, fair enough!

@@someguy6579 HA! Well played, sir.
I recommend listening to Joo Young Oh’s interpretation, it’s easily my favorite. Perlman is also great.
violinist of 35 years here. I’m never playing this piece again. 😳 epically good. 🫶🏾👍👍
I can only echo what everyone else says: best version by far!
просто гениально !!!!!!!! Пьерр играет всё очень индивидуально и с изумительным вкусом!!!!!!!наконец появился нвстоящий Музыкант!!!!!
Best acoustic version. Shout out to the acoustic guitar player!
Grandiose Interpretation!!!

Really a wonderful performance (violinist here, btw). The only version I've heard so far that captures the nostalgia of the Allegro. Thank you.
The guitar works wonderfully well with this piece. Bravissimi!!!!!!! Really. Two impressive talents here.
This is an extraordinary version. Thanks!
Wow. There are so many versions to admire but this definitely jumps to the top of the list.
This version is really beautiful. As beautiful as David Garrett 's interpretation. Yes. Every note is played with a thought

By the way. Who made the guitar arrangement? This is a very good one. And actually very difficult!
Vous savez où on peut trouver la partition de guitare?
I wish there is no heavy breathing sounds .
Very nice violin tone. I guess he play rather soft side to match with guitar.
I lost the best.

That's your interpretation; this is his. And he plays it beautifully.
It sounds amazing so silky and almost perfect but I wonder if he realized that he started with the wrong bow at the second part of the song.
😂 ….wow
perchè hai fretta? Godi la Musica!
He looks like Sherlock Holmes.
2 dislikes, wtf
I play my electric guitar over this for soloing.
