There is no other recording like this. Hadelich and Perlman came close, but this just hits the spot. The chord progression used for most of the piece, particular the double stops in the opening of the allegro, is one of my favorites of all time. I love the triple stops at the end as well. This is a surprisingly hard piece, especially for Kreisler.
The bow hold is amazing! Looks like he's barely holding on at all. I like the long quarter notes with lots of vibrato, very strong sounding and lots of emotion. I really like how there is no dislikes!
This somehow the only recording that does not scratch the first few lines but still managed to achieve a dramatic solid strong sound. Great recording ❤
Absolutely Brilliant! Genius Violinist! My favorite Fritz Kreisler violin piece of all time! I have never heard such expression on this piece as you have played it. I am greatly moved in the heart by this performance! Bravo! Thank you David Galoustov! I had the opportunity to play a portion of this piece on marimba. I loved it when I first heard Praeludium and Allegro performed by my former Maestro/Violinist Wilfred Schwartz.
This is by far one of my favorite recordings. I love how he treats every note (in the prelude) as its own entity, shown by the vibrato. Too many people play through it like mere eight notes. That's not right, each one has its own importance and gravity.
❤️🔥🤤❤️🔥🤤 THIS. IS. FIRE. i love playing this piece and i just found this recording - absolutely my favorite now! He plays it with all the passion and force that i feel it needs. Love the restraint in the tempo to build the ascending 16th notes in the third page - creates much more suspense and exhilaration when he lets it speed into the next section. Bravo 👏
I also have to learn how to hold the bow lightly. I always have to put on a bandaid to protect my fingers because i grip too hard! It’s a work in progress
Lovely rendition. In rural upper Michigan, the AM radio would play Kreisler often during the weekly half hour for classical music in the 1960's. Nothing else compared to it.
I don't understand what the "shaky" comments mean (Are they talking about tone? vibrato? tempo?), but I think that he demonstrated solid control and mastery of the piece. The way he is able to accelerate to such high speeds even in the double stops impressed me greatly. Although I do prefer this piece played slower, I can still respect the speeds at which he played with control.
Imponente! Intenso! Maravilloso! Grandioso! Expresivo! Natural! Detallista! Una versión inolvidable al más alto nivel humano. Un violinista brillante!!!!! Manos y cerebro de oro!!!!!! Bravo, todo música!!!!!! Excelente pianista!!!
Possibly the best rendition of this piece I have ever heard
Musically nice. Technically not at the level of the top players.

Very ignorant comment
What about kerson leong
Most relaxed bow hold!!!🤩

Listen to pearlman's recording
How does he keep his bow hand so relaxed! He is playing chords and literally looks like he is holding a feather 5:02
I love this interpretation omg
I just love watching David Galoustov's facial expression whilst playing this piece. It's as powerful as his hand holding the bow.
Wow, Wolverine's brother fiddling, that finger relaxation, dynamics
Lol
i thought so too, haha
overall he performed amazingly. bravo
i was literally thinking sabertooth needs to keep his nails short for violin haha
The finest rendition of this piece bar none.

Превосходное исполнение! Ничего лучше представить невозможно!
Спасибо Маэстро, огромное удовольствие от исполнения!!!
I have never heard such a human-like performance. It feels more nostalgic than sophisticated.

소름..... 정말 환상적이라는 말 밖엔.....
Woah! Your vibrato is really powerful!! Mine pales in comparison...
Wladimir Wusodski
Luview it takes an average of 4 years to perfect vibrato to be that strong, just have to keep practicing and use it often
You are a great violinist.
Your fingers holding a bow are beautiful.
I should learn to hold a bow lightly like you.
Benjamin Violin Kim true...the bow is the principal means of expression.
I also have to learn how to hold the bow lightly. I always have to put on a bandaid to protect my fingers because i grip too hard! It’s a work in progress
really well played! with a lot of strenght! One of my favorite interpretations so far :)
La migliore interpretazione che esista su TH-cam.
Pulizia del suono , timbro, calore.
I miei più sentiti complimenti per questo ottimo video 🎉👍👏

So it seems like you are a bit profan if you don't get the idea of technical abilities which allow the demonstration of such high playing quality.
Mirelle Mirelle wow ur so smart. Shut up
@@lalabest1aj , you are not Paganini, but just miserable"nothing"...
I like it at this speed, most performances go too far with rubato and the piece loses steam.
Just wow performance, can't help dropping tears I don't know why. Congrats for your smile at the very end.
I love his bow his sound is absolutely awesome it's just as hard to describe it's so beautiful and strong marvelous marvelous performance!!
