What I like about GSMarena, is that they review all kinds of phones, not just the most expensive and impressive. Because not everyone wants to spend 1K+ on a phone.

What I like about the a12 is that it does everything I need without the cost of a higher end samsung. I especially like the feature of being able to replicate my current phones set-up when I go to a new Samsung.
I use my phone in a salt-water environment so they don't last long. Because of this there is little advantage in buying an expensive phone. The A12 is ideal

@@hazelstreet1654 The phone glitches mate, like for example the phone sometimes doesn't work, not allowing me to move anything or interact even when I'm pressing plus sometimes because of that the restart button doesn't work so I've been forced to use the backup power off button which you need to hold down the volume and off button(if anyone is having the same problem as me)why do I have a problem with this when I can just restart, well IT DOESN'T FUCKIN HELP WHEN YOUR PLAYING A COMPETITIVE GAME,AM I RIGHT?
The performance is also bad like it's DOGSHIET compared to A10,if your a guy who uses his phone everyday because of covid I HEAVILY SUGGEST YOU DON'T BUY THIS PHONE AND JUST SAVE UP FOR THE OTHER ONES.
Plus it doesn't have smart view,oh how is it bad? Well most smart view apps in the play store have subscriptions where you need to pay 24 dollars a week, now count how many money are you spending in a month,in short it's just garbage.

got this from AT&T as a "free" phone. I'm pretty happy with it. Okay camera, long battery life, and thats all I really car about. Every year the latest and greatest phones come out with astronomical prices only to objectively be a tad bit better. I'd rather keep my money in my pocket and buy something convenient. It ain't the best but I can't complain, it has it where I need it. If you are like me and just do some light media, take a few pictures and open a few applications then this phone is more than enough. This phone will suffice for the majority of people.

If you're going to buy this phone, install a tempered glass designed for it and buy a Nillkin case. Its one of the best case brands for supported smartphones. I recently brought one of these like last month. Sure games have their issues sometimes due to the actual servers but tbh even the ps4 and gaming pcs do this.
Despite the claims of it being incredibly laggy I have had seldom no issues except the fact my Internet enjoys going from brilliant to absolutely awful even with fiber optic.
Over all its a stylish, fast, well designed phone with a legit decent camera and it plays games pretty well for the best part and games I usually play. Its notnthe best phone out there but not even remotely close to being a bad. Overall from my experience of it getting me through day to day life 9/10. If you want aa hard-core best there is to buy experience i advise getting a high end pc rig which inalso have for intense gaming and multi taking. For its price you can't actually complain I've brought previous phones in the £300-400 realm which have been awful.

I bought an A12 a couple of months ago. I finally got around to installing a couple of "stargazing" apps (Sky Walk and Stellarium) recently. Neither one would work because they both said "no compass detected." I looked in Settings and couldn't find anything about a compass. I downloaded a compass app. The compass app said, "No compass will work with your phone because it doesn't have a magnetic sensor."
Thanks, Samsung. I kind of knew I should have bought another LG phone, but the T-Mobile store is apparently hyping Samsung these days and I got one. I'll switch to another brand in a few months, but I'll do a bit more homework before I do.

But till the third year battery becomes dog doodoo due to this i have to put it on ultra power saving mode which makes it last only about 3 hrs, display is not that good and photos really bad. Nothing exceptional in this phone, oh not to mention for the photo to be good they need to have spot on lighting so good luck

Talking about pixel density and gaming performance not being great. For me this thing literally felt like the future when I switched to it from my dying S5 Neo I had for six years.
I don't really use my phone much, I have a computer for proper gaming etc. Being able to play GTA Vice City on a phone still blows my mind. I've been super happy with the A12, I bought it fully knowing it's a budget device but it has more power and space that I know what to do with. I don't even know what more you could possibly need from a phone.

BTW, I bought it for IDR 2 million (around USD 135) in February 2023... got the 6gb ram makes this phone more than enough for everyday use. When I checked the OS it was Android 11, because most of those who reviewed it said it started with Android 10, so I had doubts whether the smartphone was really new and if the sealed box was real or I was tricked by the online vendor. It turns out there are 2 versions, one using Mediatek chipset and one using Exynos chipset! I might got the Exynos one. Got notification said that there was an update and got it updated to Android 13 with One UI 5.1 and there is still a security update too for March 2023... Nice 👍🏾!
