That cave/hole that you saw near the first shrine in the webbed hollow, if you go down you will fight a boss. During this fight you NEED to make sure that you break all 6 of its arms BEFORE killing it. This result leaves you with one of the best armor pieces in the game.
After the "see through strike", use heavy attack again with another focus point, you can follow it up with an even stronger attack. That's where most of the damage in varied combos come from. This goes for all other stances too, you can follow up the initial varied heavy with another one.
Theres two quest lines that cut off if you beat this chapter before doing them the spider lady who showed you the chest and the horse guy who’s stuck in a spider egg also recommend beating the hidden boss before chapter boss
if you fully upgrade the pilgrim armor set it generates focus while sprinting, which synergizes extremely well with the smash stance skill that lets you charge your heavy attack while sprinting, you can get 3 full focus points with less than 5 seconds of running and charging
2nd time telling you to headbutt. And cloud step miles better can get critical hit, go invisible to heal and/or just waste time invisible to get spells back Also Idk if you've been doing this but you can use those mind cores to increase stats at the pill wolf by making celestial medications
As you have noticed, spells in this game is really expensive. Spell Binders gives you a constantly higher DPS. I get that at chapter 3 and never fight without it until cycle 5 when the bosses are having really hight stats and can basically one shot you with every single moves........ I used duplication to one shot them instead. Apparently, the Armorworm IS the treasure that the girl is refering to. At last that is probably the funniest lines I have ever heard about this game. The first reaction for this spell is which slot does it goes. I was like: Does that even Matter?😂😂
You dont have to play the game over for the secret ending you can fight the boss for the secret ending Right after the last boss is dead then go to the great pagoda place in chapter 3 and you Will get teleported to the secret area/ boss place of chapter 3
The music with the flute during some boss fights sounds extremely almost identical to the witcher 3 music while playing gwent. Imo is that something you added? Because of copyright? Because some other boss music sounds like pokemon go music 😂
Can rock solid be used against the bullshit fire wheel attack? Based on what little I've seen, it feels like rock solid, immobilize, and pluck of many are the canon, so to say, abilities.
