I love this series. I‘m planning on starting my own project, so this detailed but simple approach really helps. Also it shows that you don‘t have to be intimidated to try it yourself. Thank you for doing this style of video and not just promoting your own services, rather helping people like me, who firstly doesn‘t have the budget to pay a company to do the conversion and secondly is actually looking forward to seeing what I as a „normal“ person can achieve on my own.
As someone whose enthusiasm in this field far outstrips his experience, this level of basic instruction (but delivered efficiently) is an absolute boon for me.
Think I’m going to really enjoy this series. I’m a complete novice and tbh not that practical when it comes to DIY etc. My wife and I are looking to buy a van and convert. We’re looking to do it in stages whilst using it a our second car. Hopefully these videos will give us the confidence to try doing some of the jobs ourselves and then get the professionals in for the specialist work. Even explaining the different power tools is really useful. Keep it up and thanks for some great content. 👍
just brought myself a 2021 transit custom to convert. Went to Howdens (after my previous insurer Direct Line quoted me £1500 and then will only inssure it until i satrt conversion, then they can't insure it at all!), They were great! Mentioned CVC and got the discount and a great fully comp prtected NCB rate of just over £500 - well pleased with them! Now to crack on with conversion, let the fun begin!
Just finished my t4 Caravelle convention 🙌🏻 and I’m so happy with the finish all metalwork covered with light gray carpet all ply panels covered with dark gray suede with 4 touch dimmer light and instead of painting the cupboards I’ve papered ordence and survey maps on them and varnished them they look mint
Great video’s for the beginners among us :-) i hope to start my project in 2025 finding and converting a t5 or t6. All the tutorials and video’s are nice and explained well and step by step! I will defenitly follow them as i go along. Kind regards, Joachim from Belgium
Hi from down under. Just thinking, wouldn't you be able to sell or give away those parts you stripped out, maybe not a lot of money but it might just help someone else as well and save on waste.
Hi! Thank you for the suggestion. We have tried to sell and give away these parts in the past but people just dont need them. We convert multiple vans a moonth and the parts would just stack up
"I have no live rounds, blanks, empty cases, pyrotechnics, or parts thereof in my possession, Sir!" Proceeds to find spent brass in the most random of places
Doesn't matter how long we're out for, the littlest of things will always bring the memories back. I remember finding a blank between my helmet and helmet liner once because I used dump the boxes into my helmet and fill mags from that

Domi is coming for your job Leigh 😂. Im lovimg these episodes x
She’s definitely enjoying the process!
Are you going to add costing.
Excellent video again like how you are explaining everything and not getting to involved as well this is going to be a good build series 👍
Thank you! We are defiantly having fun building it!
I’m loving the step by step approach, it brilliant for a novice like me.
As long as the holes are 8-9mm they can be used. Leigh

Would love to see pictures of your van !
Could you re-use the floor or as a template for new flooring etc?
Fantastic videos, I just got a T6, and it's good to see step by step. As a 50+ female, I can see that I can do it, or at least most of it myself ♥️
You can do it!

Best of luck!
Barn doors😁 Definitely the best type. Would always choose that. Mostly only need to open 1 door at back
95% everything taken from sliding doorI
Both barn doors and tailgates have their benefits, but it was Domis choice for the barn doors:)

You failed to explain when acquiring a drill, you have to give it a quick double tap - rule one of any drill use

Bringing all the memories flooding back!! What a random thing to find, and a 7.62 to boot!

@@shanemjn 🤣
Clear, do nothing 😂
Ohh yeah use hidden clips the finish you get is definitely worth it
Fortunately we stock and sell the invisible clips so we are golden!
