    Thor’s Hammer from THOR: Ragnarok
I wanted to make my daughter a full size replica of Thors Hammer, Mjolnir, to take with us to the movie on opening night. I don’t have the ability to make a metal one, but I could certainly make a wooden one.
I had a silver maple log that a friend gave me and so I made the hammer from that. It was a quick project since we only had about 4 hours before movie time. But I think it turned out great, and it was a great hit at the movies!
I am also including a free set of plans for this project for anyone who wants to build it.
Things that I used in this project:
    Tools:
    Thor’s Hammer Woodworking Mallet: kingsfinewoodworking.com/coll...

LOL The grandkids are ages 5 and 8 years old. Maybe I'll just build one for myself. I understand you are in Denver? I'm in Evergreen, CO. Thank you for the reply.

I love Thor!! Mjölnir is a beast. In fact, my dogs name is Mjölnir & we’ve trained him to only “respond” to me like Mjölnir to Thor lol.
Just one suggestion, maybe do a lichtenberg effect with epoxy & glow in the dark powder to have that Thor lightning effect going on. I know for sure once we get our shop up & running again, this is definitely what I’m doing. Thank you guys so much for these awesome & inspirational videos.

This came out pretty good Do you find the west system going a lil pinkish on you? It doesn't when I add a thickener but when you use epoxy as a flat finish you cant thickening it I use a piece of mylar and the finish comes out flawless its just a pink tint to it.

I was wondering if we'd hear from you after the other night lol. Now the question is, how much glue will he use this time, the edit will come after I finish the video! Yep still a lack of glue lol, and thanks for going over the bubbled up resin fix after our discussion on a job I have coming up, hopefully I do not have nearly that many bubbles considering how slowly I will have to pour that surface not to mention I heard heating it prior to pouring helps :) Hammer came out nice, too bad you didn't stop and think you just made your wife something else to hit you with haha.

    • @KingsFineWoodworking

It is a link to my website where you actually have to go through the check-out process. And then the download link appears. But if you just send me an email, I will email you the plans directly. james@kingsfinewoodworking.com

Nice work. One question, if the PDF plan is free why is the site asking me for my Credit Card info in order to get it? It's either free or it's not.

Don't worry ... it just means more room for dust extraction. I love your videos, btw. The format is great, and I love the way your kids help out. My daughter #2 loves to help me out too. Daughter #1, not so much.
