- In 1998, Universal Studios Florida opened Twister Ride it Out. A special effects show that placed guests in the middle of once in a life time monster tornado. The attraction closed in 2015, to be replaced by Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. Though gone, the attraction will never be forgotten. Thanks to the amazing audio uploaded by@DarkDoge(now @x-sbravo5530 , I've been able to recreate Twister Ride It Out in Minecraft. After walking through the queue, step onto the set and watch as the F5 tornado rips the drive-in and diner apart right in front of your eyes, leaving one thing for you to do. Hold on for your life.

(And thank you to my friend SpaceNugget for operating the ride so I could film it.)
You should try to make the full Twister Movie. That would be awesome!
That's a neat idea. I don't have anywhere near that much patience to do the full movie, but I still like the idea and hope someone else does something like that.
That Minecraft Twister is super duper cool

AINT NO WAY.
Hey man, I’m not sure if you’re still active but I’m creating my own Universal Park in Minecraft and wanted to do justice to my favorite ride at the park (Twister!!) How was this done? How did you create the tornado? What mods did you use to have the items and objects move and fly around? I’d love if you could give insight to another fan as to how to make something similar to this.
Hope to hear back from you soon dude :)
Well I am very much still active (long gaps between videos because these take a while to make) but I can quickly explain some it. So the Tornado done with an armorstand above the show area that is being spun in circles using a tp command. Then I have cloud particles spawn behind and in front of where the armorstand is looking. That way, as it spins, the particles spin creating the spinning effect. As for the flying blocks, I used a plugin called Train Carts. Most people use it for making trains from linking minecarts together, or ride vehicles like you see on most theme park MC servers, but you can also add items to the train which can then have animations. So I used a texture pack to remodel some items into the way I wanted them to look, and then made train animations for the flying. If that's all a bit confusing typed out, I made a behind the scenes video for this and my Minecraft Jaws Ride, which should explain a little bit better than this reply can.
