The advent of the UTV has created an avenue of exploration into some incredible places. Exploring out in the deserts of the southwest US, it is as evident as ever that the west is still plenty wild. We decided for this adventure, we were going to head out into the Arizona desert to make our way to Kelly Point, one of the most isolated areas in the western Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument. We prepped and packed up the machines to make sure they were ready to tackle the rugged desert conditions and headed out on our Kelly Point UTV Overland Adventure Ride.

I’m always looking through TH-cam for trip ideas, I like the video and love the package you put together behind it (I.e. the gps tracks and showing the map).

Last fall I did it solo trip that started outside Fredonia Arizona head west across the Arizona strip to Mesquite. From Mesquite my destination was Snap Point. I cannot over emphasize how remote this area is. With proper preparation I would say this ride is the Ultimate Grand Canyon UTV Adventure! Ridesafely, ride responsibly, so we can continue to Ride!!

Awesome video. Keep these overland videos coming. We’re getting ready for our first one in WV in October. The goal is to go out west and do one as well. I’ve done several of the same mods to my RMAX that you did to your machines in prep for this type of riding. Appreciate you guys!

GREAT TRIP! 4600 MILES of roads. 750000 of barbwire.
Obviously only hardcore jeeps and ATVs do this run.
Respect. Never went out there when working there. 4x4 dually F450 doesn't like those roads.
    Great job and video.

Lime Kiln is scenic way in. Whitney Pass via Pakoon Springs is good out. And you can also go up past Lookout out Limekiln again. Get the map.

Nice video! But you really need a better drone camera... perhaps a DJI MINI 2.... Otherwise the video production was very well done! Thanks!
