I just want to say that because sundarpatan is coming to the game i think in the future we could see an africa 2.0 with rhinos and elephants i really think they could add rhinos because tigers are more endangerd than rhinos.
I think Nepal is a stepping stone to see if allowing endangered species to be hunted will be well received by the community. I don't think you're too far off with your comment here. Thanks for stopping by and happy Hunting!
Next EW pole, I'm telling them that constantly banning the modders every day, is one of the best things they can do keep this game going. Ill do it for free, better yet, give Falx that job.
Either that or a way to tell that the server is modified! That way I don't waste hours of time running around looking for trophies when I could be on a legit map.
EW doesn't host a server in the same way something like an MMO does, so they can't ban people. When you join a multi map you are joining that PLAYER's server. It works similar to Valheim in that way because at the end of the day it is a feature for a single player game. Furthermore, if there were some way to ban them from making a server it would just encourage more modding and perhaps even pirated servers. So just don't play on them if you don't want to....I also agree with Falx about just having a tag saying it is a modded server.
Unfortunately this is a very common thing these days. There are SO MANY cheaters - it never has been easier to cheat a game than now. As you said, they destroy every spirit of this game, every special feature of trophies and every high effort over years that is in well sorted trophy lodges.
Exactly. I don't understand how people are so ravenous for instant gratification that they would do this and ruin the value of the trophies for the rest of us. But then again we live in a society that preaches instant gratification
@@FalxHunter For me, I'm playing since release Medved Taiga in 2017-09, having 3.500 hours of gameplay, hundreds and hundreds of trophies, but all are legit. There is no reason to cheat a trophy - it won't ever be as worthy when you do so. I've learned this game the hard way with the old scoring system "Scoring 1.0", where the trophy didn't matter at all, but only the weight of an animal. Diamonds have been RARE back then. One mistake and they became Gold. You had to know about the effects of weapons, ammunition and ballistics - way more than today. It was tough, but great. Then all the instant gratification addicted gunning kiddies came and started crying that they never find and shoot diamonds... So, EW released the new scoring system as it is today - and to be honest, it is nearly impossible to ruin a diamond unless you aren't totally unable. 😀
I'm a multiplayer person, 90% of all my trophies came from multi. In 1 year on playstation ive had around 500 disconnects aswell as 300 kicks. The amount of glitches ive seen in multi almost uncountable. I was also on pc for 3 years and got disconnected so much and came across so many modded servers it was one of the main reasons i even switched to playstation. EW is focussing on singleplayer and its been hurting the game for a while now. I don't care about a new map, a new g1 or anything else if multiplayer isnt gonna be fixed.
There needs to be something that either alerts the player to the fact they are on a modded map or completely prevents modding from happening in general. I cannot stand playing multiplayer on PC anymore because I literally can't trust anything I find. Even on maps that seem that they haven't been modded they may have been modded earlier and just hunted down to what looks like a normal population. It sucks and I really hope it is addressed soon. Thank you for your comment!
I have heard that it is possible to find modded servers on consoles, but it's certainly not as easy or as prolific as on PC because it's harder to modify the console version. Either way, if you suspect a server is modded I would just leave and hunt elsewhere.
I understand how you might feel that way, but if you're on PC it's like every other server now. Install you can't know if a server you've inherited or jumped on wasn't previously modded all the time.
I have not been in a modded sever I found cheaters in multiplayer but they only had the speed hack and the one where they bring all the animals in that area to one spot
that's why i prefer playing on console , finding mutiplayer servers sin't as easy but you're sure nobody is gonna grief you, nobody's gonna speedhack or spawn stuff ...
@@PdoggProductionsthe only pc players you can trust are the official content creators and creators like this who leave and don’t support modding they rest can’t really be trusted that’s why I am a console player no mods or anything like that
I absolutely understand where you are coming from. However, hacking and cheating are a symptom of a a bigger issue, one that EW has some control over. Of course some people just hack and use mods to mess around and have fun (and as you say, if it stays with them, that's their choice, regardless what the rest of us think about it), but a lot (majority?) do it for the rares and the Great Ones. Given that it takes thousands of kills, and God knows how many hours, plus all the mind-numbingly boring repetitive gameplay to get one without mods, some players are taking an easy way out. This is similar to music piracy in that the underlying reason for a lot of piracy was to get a single track from an album without buying the whole thing; once Apple and others started selling single tracks, piracy plummeted. Same with video and TV piracy: shows that people wanted were flaming expensive back in the day and/or completely unavailable. Again, Apple and other online stores that sold what you wanted at an affordable price really helped mitigate the rampant piracy. No, it didn't go away completely, but some of the major reasons for it were no longer a reason. EW cannot solve the mod problem completely but they could address one of the reasons for crazy servers with nothing but Great Ones, rares, etc., by making Great Ones something that any player can obtain without 8000 kills, 1000s of hours, and essentially not playing the game as a hunting game at all but as a shooting gallery with a Pokémon collectable prize at the end. I am not saying make it "not rare" at all, but if there were, for example, always at least one Great One on maps that have one initially (or within a reasonable about of gameplay time), this would be a start. (The respawn rate might be higher of course.) Most player want a Great One, and most players are willing to do SOME work for one, but not give up every waking hour; make them more accessible (maybe about twice as rare as an albino, but able to spawn off any respawn without HM) and I think most people will stop with the mods. Whatever happens, I would hope to see grinding just absolutely destroyed as a game mechanic for getting Great Ones. Even serious grinders are complaining about this kind of gameplay now and how it burns them out (and often stopping with the game completely after that), which also indicates it is, as a game mechanic, a problem. The modding/cheating is just a symptom of that. (And for the record, I am not at all excusing cheating or suggesting it should be accepted, but rather that there is a reason for its existence, and that reason ought to be at least considered and potentially addressed if possible.)
We definitely need to look at alternative solutions to the great one issue. I know that there's huge chunks of the community, especially grinders, who are very Covetous of the Rarity of the great one and where the many thousands of kills they make to get their great ones as a badge of honor. There's no problem with that per se, but it leaves the casual players in the dust with regard to their experience. I think if they were to incorporate great ones as mission animals with incredibly challenging and dangerous story lines, it would be helpful. Another option could be that when you reach level 60, one of the great ones spawns at random on a map where it exists. You don't know which one and you don't know where, but you do have a chance of encountering it as you hunt. I think that would be awesome. I really hope they do find a way to balance the game a little more between casual and grinding players. As someone who does both, I hate to see the community so torn apart by this issue. Thank you for commenting, Snail!
So sorry to see what happened to you idk why they do this that is so messed up, that is disappointing like why stop ruining people games, I hope you can recover from that.😢😢 you can’t forget the new people coming in finally found a trophie and got told it was moded it going to be heart breaking for them.

Unfortunately, that's just going to push me to grind on my regular maps because eventually, you do run out of rares.
Yea, you could always try great one grinding, but you are more of a running around and gunning and running, atleast there is a new map that you can run and gun.
Modded servers on pc and trading is a problem on console. People don’t earn their trophies anymore, I know people who trade for or buy every great one and diamond they have 🤦🏼♂️
Why do you care? That person is playing the game they bought the way they want to. If you don't like it, then don't play on their map. Just find another unmodded map Its simple....personally I don't like modding my game but I would LOVE to find a map on multi like that because I don't have time to grind a great one.
Modding is so pervasive that it's almost impossible to find an unmodded map on PC. My only issue is when people open up their maps and expose it to others. If you want a mod on your own map in your own private time, that's fine. But when I go to multiplayer, I hope to find real authentic trophies and not ones that are cheated in. I do however understand your frustration when it comes to trying to achieve the best trophies in the game because of limited time. Thank you for taking a moment to share your frustrations.
It wouldn't be like this if the rares weren't so extreme in the first place, The developers are slowly making their own game obsolete with their ridiculous spawn rates
According to statistics, piebald whitetails make up far less than 1% of the nationwide population. It's even rarer for albinos and melanistics. I think the game's spawn rate is on par with that, but I can see your frustration with it being a game and all.
EW needs to stop being lazy about it, and at LEAST add a reporting system for players. if they can detect the general publics kill count as a whole by collecting that data surely they know how many is hacking too
