Worked CHRISTmas Eve 2024. I'm a newb so here are some tips for other newbs... 1. Multiple people note below that you need 2 of the same kind of tent for this to work. Fortunately, I accidentally bought a 2nd camo tent before I knew that the DLC included one of each tent, not just the option to buy tents. 2. Placement was a little tricky. I had to place and dismantle the tent many times before getting the beaver pop up. Dismantle by walking up to it at the right angle and pressing E when the dismantle option pops up. This also is slightly tricky. 3. It's worth the trouble. I now have 189 camo tents. Woo hoo!
Tried this multiple times with 3 tents of the same color, when I leave after placing them it doesn’t tell me that they have been returned to storage and when I load into a single player I still have 3 tents of the same color:
Buddy told me about it last night it worked for him I’m doing it now not working. I see the beaver felled messages and when I click okay it puts my tent back in my storage 😭
I cant get it to work. Tried both as a host of a multiplayer as well as joining someone else's server. Im in the correct spot and when I place the tent it gets taken away only it does not give me it back and I would need to return to the hut to get it again. What am I doing wrong?
I tried it again (had 4 tents so did it 4 times) and exited and it finally loaded back to the main menu and worked. For some reason if I do a bunch like 30+ it gets stuck at the loading screen when I back out
I cannot find that exact spot. What I’ve found that looks exactly similar has a yellow bush closer to the tree you stand by block where the tent is being placed

for some reason everytime i do the glitch and leave to main menu it won’t let me load back in to the menu it just gets stuck loading me back
