They really relaxed my nerves and got me excited while waiting on my time to come !
First off girl your stunning and second this was so helpful I'm getting my cna certification and going to work as a patient care tech in the hospital either the one I already work at as a evs associate or another sister hospital with the same company
You're so sweet, thank you so so much! and i'm so glad I could help you out! you're going to love it, i've seen so many different things, and have had so many experiences. Very rewarding :)

Hey There! Just subscribed! I started in training as a PCT, I'm on my 4th week. Here in Oregon, you can go through a 3 month training program through the employer. I'm not sure if I can physically do it as I'm older, but I'm gonna try, lol. I haven't read the comments, so you may already know this, but you had at least (not rhru with the vid yet) 2 or 3 energy, light orbs, very cool! Thank You for sharing! I'll check out your other vids too!❤
I was able to get a job at a hospital as a PCA while enrolled in my CNA program. If you’re enrolled in a CNA or 2nd semester of an run program you qualify! Not sure if that’s a new rule or not :)
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING TO GET CNA CERTIFIED WHICH PROGRAM DID YOU GO THRU BECAUSE EVERYTIME I FILL OUT A FORM 100 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS START CALLING I NEED TO DO AND ONLINE COURSE OR SOMETHING IM JUST TRYING TO GET MY CNA LICENSE OR PCT LICENSE
I’m interested those classes but I have problem with English, I’m CNA school right now, I read a lot that American speaker because I want to pass the License exam.
Are you required to take PCT classes which take up to around a year of schooling or can we just get CNA certification and pass our CPCT/A exam to get our PCT certification
The school i went to, actually did a lot of practice tests with us! (With one being graded), so i felt very prepared to take the test for certification. I know for skills, i wrote the skill and the different steps of the skill on notecards, and tested myself, and well as having someone look home the cards, watch me do the skills and tell me if i missed anything!
I was doing my CNA I'm done, my PTC is next now but I'm kind of borried cause I went to do my clinical and I was bathing a lot people and changing pampers and doing a lot heavy work and I hope PTC is more kind a variety of the job cause I don't want be reduce just to change a pamper you know. Cause I was reading CNA and PTC is pretty much the same ?? You think that ? Thanks 👍
I’m currently in the RN BSN program. I’m thinking about working as a PCT starting in the summer. However, I did not complete the first semester due to personal reasons. I will go back to complete foundations next semester. But is it true I gotta complete foundations class first before becoming a PCT?? For idk if I’ll get the job for not completing it.
Hi, I am Babu; I am planning on doing PCT. Also, I have just graduated from High School. Please tell me about the exam, which one to apply for, how to study for the exam, and more? Please.
I literally just got a job offer as a CNA here at a hospital in Atlanta, for my department it says icu but I don't see many videos on that department. Do you know some of the task we would have to do in that department ? I seen a video of a can in the OR and she was mopping and just folding and im find with starting from the bottom but I would like to know what kind of things I may run into in the icu.
I actually just worked in an ICU on Saturday! I didn’t make a video, because i found it to be like any other tech job I’ve done, so making sure the room is stocked, food trays are passed, assist nurses with patient care (changing patients, blood sugars, vitals if needed, changing beds, washing patients, helping with toileting, etc.). The icu i worked in, only had 12 beds, so it’s a fairly small department, but idk how it is at other hospitals. I would also ask the nurses to let you watch them with meds, fluids etc. if you’re interested! I didn’t have to do any ivs, or blood draws (except to remove them), because with them being in the icu, they’d have an IV nurse do the insertions. But it should still keep your fairly busy!
@@_BriannaNicole_ thank you so much for the response I’m very excited to get started. I actually want to be a midwife so I definitely will be trying to watch and learn all there is to know, which is why more than anything I just wanted to be in a hospital to see and be around what it is I want to actually be an do. Your videos are an inspiration...KEEP IT UP 👏🏽👏🏽❤️❤️
You can be a cna! They are not required to do blood draws, only patient care (bed baths, helping with meals, cleaning, etc.). That would be perfect if you want to work in healthcare and not d blood draws
I’m wanting to try and pursue this honestly but I’m kinda dumb and have ADD lol definitely not good with math at all it’s horrible how bad I am would I be okay to still pursue this??
I am in the same boat as you. I am actually a care giver right now. (Same thing as a cna minus the certificate. Lol) and it’s pretty easy! I’m not sure about patient care tech, but I am assuming it’s a lot like a cna.
I’m in NJ and I’m planning on doing the PCT program, my only problem is finding a good school to go to 😢 I’m just not sure which is good, or how much it should cost
I’m applying to a PCT program I found two one is online and had open enrollment and the other is in person that starts at the end of September! Do you think taking it online will be okay? Or is it better to take in person?
@Aurora I gonna do the one online it fits better with my schedule. However, I am now considering either the PCT program or the dental assistant program!
It all depends on your experience! I’m not too familiar with medical assistants, but i do know that they also have the ability to do administrative work. If you’re doing direct patient care as a medical assistant (vitals, bed baths, dressing, changing, feeding, etc.) then i don’t see why not! You might just learn a few more extra things as a tech (blood draws and ivs), but there are usually trainings for those tasks anyways!
