I looked all over the internet to find a tutorial hon how to set my Mitsubishi Mini Split remote time.... and this video is THE BEST one out there! Many thanks for your help!
G'day from Tasmania, Australia. Goodness...thank you SO much. Your perfect video has saved my sanity! I just couldn’t make head nor tail of the manual, and your concise, clear, calm voice and demonstration allowed me to understand this remote control completely. ❤️🇦🇺 Cheers!
Thank you soooo much for sharing this!! I was struggling to find my way around this remote without the manual and seeing this has made my day. I can come home to a toasty warm house now 😍
Great video, and there aren't many out there for how to set remote for weekly schedule. I have a question, however. I have the same schedule every day. Wake up and Sleep. No changes during the day. Do I need to press the 1-4, or can I just set a wake up time/temperature, then set, then send to unit? A bit confused on that one.
Thank you for this comment, and so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I hope I am understanding your question. If you have all the days showing when you first go to set the schedule (for the same schedule each day), then for the 1-4 setting, I would select 1 for the on time/temp in the morning, 2 for the off time/temp and then send to the unit. you will not need the 3 and 4 in that case. I hope this answers your question.
Hi Amil, Thank you. I am not sure about adusting the Fan settings based on a schedule, and I am guessing you can't, but you can try it while you are in set mode for the schedule to see what happens if you press the Fan button. I would check this for you but right now I am not located in the same location as my minisplit. On the other hand, it's not the fan that uses the majority of the power that the minisplit uses in heating/AC mode so you are probably OK keeping your fan settings the way you like them for most of the time.
thank you for your comment. If you want it off all the time, just hit the "Off/On" orange/yellow button at the top. If you want it off in the schedule at some point, this is done in the example of this video. You use the "On/Off" (lower left most "On/Off" button to toggle the remote state. Thank you again for your comment.
Say I want to temporarily change a temp setting - I'd just hit the TEMP Up/Down. But how do I reactivate the Weekly Timer program - maybe just press WEEKLY TIMER ON/OFF twice? Thanks!
If you don't toggle the weekly timer and just hit the TEMP up/down button at the top of the remote for a temporary change, as soon as the next timer/schedule time occurs, the settings revert to your schedule (no toggling required). But if you toggled the Weekly Timer off, then yes, you will need to toggle it back on and your schedule will be in place. Hope this helps. thank you for watching and for your comment/question.
Great explanation! 1) If a schedule is set on the Mitsubishi thermostat, will the remote's schedule take precedence? 2) I also had a problem where a temporary temperature is not being changed when the next scheduled time occurs. Any suggestions for this? Thanks
I don't have a Mitsubishi specific thermostat. However, I do have the Kumo Cloud, and what I can see is that if you use the cloud to manage the temps, it would override the remote. But if you do have a schedule set on the remote and your remote is on, I would supposed the schedule would override the thermostat. My guess is that the best practice would be to set the schedule on the thermostat and remove it (turn it off) from the remote, but that is just a guess. For your question number 2 I am unsure, but just as in my previous comment, the thermostat might override the remote but the remote will not change to match the thermostat. Again probably best practice is to use the thermostat and not use the remote to manage your minisplit.
The new Mitsubishi air-conditioning remote control I did watch all the TH-cam how to setup the time and day but no one did give any explanation on to change the format from 24 to 12hours Am/pm …. No one did explain even the Mitsubishi company didn’t give explanation… and no information on user manual!!!!!! why why ????
You might need to talk to your dealer. I am guessing it his how the remote is set by default. At least mine is set on a 12 hour clock with am/pm by default

Better than the manual. But I had to turn my screen 90* in order to see the remote correctly.
Hi there! Thank you for the video. I wonder if it is possible to add FAN settings in addition to the temperature for the weekly schedule?

@@CB99Videos thank you very much for your reply. It makes sense. Can just leave the the fan on the same setting I guess.
Hello i noticed all the programs turned it on at different times but did not see any program set to turn it of ?
