Physics behind chopsticks: Lever and torque

Chopsticks are invented in ancient China. They are very convenient utensils to use if you want to pick up something from a distance. Have you ever wondered why chopsticks are designed in this way? Chopsticks are actually very useful simple machines which are called levers in physics. This video analyzes how chopsticks act as levers when we use them to pick up something.
