My niche is moms who love being creative with their family and serving their family in different ways (cleaning, organizing etc) I LOVED this Sean, it was SO informative and helpful! I took a ton of notes and feel way more confident about starting to reach out to brands! So grateful for you!
So my channel was really diverse and I uploaded different topics but I finally decided to niche down and focus only on two topics which is movie reviews, and product reviews. Thank you so much Sean for giving not only me but a lot of other influencers with so much knowledge to grow in this TH-cam world we are all family and should motivate one another thanks again!

Been looking to do more in depth reviews for products I am passsionate about as well. I do a lot of makeup reviews now , however I prefer more of the natural route of beauty .. @i KINGl - You have a good point but it depends on your niche, some niches care more about how many subs you have than viewers. I believe that TH-cam also change the way they show your channel to others in terms of searching criteria when you hit the 1,000 subs.

Right now I am more interested in reviewing products than getting a YT paycheck. I had some luck recently when I did a shoe review. I contacted the company to let them know I made the video. They said they will use my video in their online advertising! Huge exposure for me, and maybe they'll send me free shoes. Still waiting.
Great tip with contacting people face to face at conventions! I go to fitness conventions at least once a year.

I'm no expert, but I'd like to give you some feedback. I see you created your channel like 4 years ago yet you got less than 500 subs. I believe you may need to change something in the way you advertise. Probably spread the word out there or go to some fitness events / fitness clubs etc and help people get to your channel. The other downside I see is that you don't post content often enough to keep people engaged. You should aim for at least once a week as a small channel just like Sean said in one of his other videos. Good luck :-)

I just wanted to comment. I was a little skeptical at the beginning of your video but by the end, I had a very clear idea of at least one small to mid-size (I think) company that I can contact. We are a family-friendly channel and there's a particular lines of toys that my kids love which are hand-made.

Wow, this is really weird, I looked at your content and it looks really professional and well designed and I can see you started your channel about a year ago yet still below 200 subs, I guess it's how you advertise or the titles are too long but I could be wrong. Try to shorten your titles and make them more like "My hamster managed to do this !!!" with a really attractive thumbnail and I think you will attract more viewers. I'm no expert but just my opinion.

I have a mommy/family/lifestyle channel! I'm 25 and married. We have 3 sons and the youngest has a metabolic disorder called phenylketonuria. Our hope is to speed the word on this disorder and let other parents just receiving their child's diagnosis know they aren't alone! ❤️

Hey Sean, I always wondered how does it work with using music in my videos? Can I only use copyright free music, do I have to purchase songs to go along with the videos, or is there any other way to get songs embedded into my videos without violating copyrights etc.? Thanks for your work! Helped me a lot!!
My Pro tip if you go to the live conventions: have a plan before you go there. E.g. if you go to the CES in Vegas, plan which events you want to go to and what brands you want to meet with first, because the exhibition is soooo huge, so you may waste a lot of time without having a plan there.

The best way is to just jump in and start!! Putting yourself out there can be intimidating, but you just have to push through it.

My niche is : NFL & NBA videos in French! I want to educate my country to those leagues, to the sport itself and the management behind the teams! Any recommendations for my channel growth? My audience is small but very very engaged, I feel like I will never get a million followers with this (because of the popularity of the sports in my country) but my followers are extra engaged with the community.

My channel is about cooking, food shopping and hauls. I contacted a company because I really wanted to review their products but they said they are not doing collaboration at this moment. I'm thinking because I'm small because lots of TH-camrs are reviewing their products
Fun Cooking and More It kinda makes sense though. You wouldn't give $20 to a random stranger right? Definitely try building up a base first and then ask again. And if you're really adamant about reviewing their products, you can always start by reviewing the ones that you've bought first. Maybe that'll show them that you're a good reviewer to collaborate with? :)

I review mattresses & pillows. I've had companies tell me, "sorry, we don't do product reviews" but I've seen other videos where someone else said they were given a sample for free to review. I think it's code for "we don't want to give it to YOU. (too small)" I actually respect a company more who tells me straight up, get a little bigger than check back.
Work for the moment when they approach you, just to ditch them....

Aravind Ashok ashok i would suggest u to make everything in one channel. and make sure ur channel name makes u stand out :)
TH-cam is the second largest search engine in the world. When you post videos in a certain subject, you gain authority in that subject. If you cover too many things, it can hurt your authority and subsequently how many people youtube recommends your channel to.
So one for projects, one for vlogs, and one for the comedy/gaming stuff. You can easily create multiple channels on one account. (:

Don in 5 just make a professional review and make sure you have a good youtube channel with videos on it focusing on one thing. Ask nicely and professionally. I’ve just started and already gotten 2 free wireless headphones my channel name is Unboxology.

Yes, they want you to review their product so they will potentially make a lot more money through exposure on your channel, especially if it has over 1000 subs and 300-400 views on average than they will lose by giving you that one product you're reviewing :-) it's well worth it for them.
