It is typical cult behaviour that members crave the cult leaders approval. It's an abusive relationship with a malignant narcissist. Anybody that grew up in a home like this knows well the desperation for approval from the abuser.
I worked at C ult W atch for about a decade. We had two definitions of a cult. The first is the modern and secular one, which is about mind control. The prosecutor therefore have the right to establish Trump’s credibility. That’s why Stormy was questioned. If Trump had admitted it, yes there would be no purpose but the job of the prosecutors is to present facts to the jury and challenge false statements from the defendant. Also Stormy has the right to not be accused of lying without having the possibility to explain herself.

I had a working relationship with a boss who had me completely conned and I would do whatever he asked professionally to keep him happy. One of the things that makes me believe MC was originally a good guy (and has come full circle) is his family.
