Dual DPUs! 1:48 I decided to count how many cars passed between the air release 1:59 and when the train came to a complete stop. 2:54 38 cars and 55 seconds passed before the train was able to stop and im guessing that its mostly empty because it seems to me that it stopped a little on the quick side given the speed it was travelling. Almost a half mile
It was definitely loads. If it was empty, you'd have seen them stop way quicker. I'm guessing they were going uphill here so that helped slow them faster.
That happened in Canmore back in 2018 oil train stopped at the hotel in Canmore, sometimes in 2023 on the live stream in Canmore and one grain train in person when I was filming and rail fanning. When I was watching the live stream there were in total 2 grain trains and 1 intermodal train in total out of all the trains I seen on the live cam

Did the train hit a car, or someone?
No it had a kicker it's an uncontrolled release of the trains air causing an emergency brake application
No it blew an airhose
How often does. This happen.
It happens every so often but to catch it on film is rare
