Ritual-wave... ? There are now so many different genre's, it's overwhelming; but, Cirqu d'Ess is a very special brew. As an 80's Goth, I speak from experience when people ask about my music selections, this is extremely reminiscent of my Era -- In a Great Way... !!! My review was: "Thoroughly impressive work by this fantastic duo, so think an exotic blend of Dead Can Dance, the Cranes, and The Cocteau Twins. Cirque d'Ess has music that's filled with mystic landscapes of enchanted and sometimes forbidding arenas, interstiched by deep, dark, and foreboding guitar reverb. "Creaky Leaves" is a hair-raising experience, as you don't just hear music, it's a true act of participation -- it's now apart of my repeat favorites. This is the "Rolls Royce" standard, if, you're an independent thinker -- You will 'Totally Understand It... !!!' "
