i know its been a while but i'll let you know this paper *really* lets you press down with the tombows to make some pretty colour variation ^^ also i *love* the idea of using a journal for OCs, somehow ive not really thought to do that before :o
Yes!! (I know it’s been a while for me too) After I made this video, I did more experimentation and found that the tomboys got subtle gradient effects when I pressed. I was extremely pleased~☆
As a lefty, I wish I wrote as beautifully as you! I just purchased the Midori Md . Are there any other notebooks that you would recommend for lefty’s? Also pens?
So sorry for the late reply. I don’t really avoid any paper or notebooks just because I’m a lefty. I learned how to write with my hand slightly suspended above the page so I don’t smudge. Don’t let leftiness stop you from trying out amazing paper! (But also onion skin is pretty stinking cool and lefty friendly) I’d also suggest Sakura micron pens because they’re archival and dry relatively quickly. Also acroball makes a good fast-drying formula too.
Why didnt you talk about the bleed through? After swatching with the pens and everything? I feel like thats one of, if not, most important things in a journal review lol
I like how Midori notebook allows you to be creative not only the pages, but you can decorate the book cover too!

The glue stick is Gloo by Kokuyo in the medium size, and the Tape is a Tombow Mono adhesive tape roller.
