I remember these times. The talks were Arsenal were brilliant to watch with silky players but spineless. Especially with Gilberto and Flamini leaving and not replacing them which made Arsenal softer. That opening segment gave me flashbacks. So glad it’s different now which our giants in the team, hoping to equate that to trophies.
This channel would be so much better if most of the goals weren’t cut out due to copyright? I assume. That’s literally the point of watching these classic games
It wasn't Keane vs Vieira, but this was one of the greatest Premier League clashes. Even Sir Alex Ferguson in his post match said that was one of the best premier league matches he was ever part of.
There’s a video of Andy Gray saying that this match was his favourite of the naughties decade and you cannot disagree with that take, 2 classic teams, game played at incredible pace from start to finish, great goals (unfortunately omitted here 😂) & in the golden era of the premier league
I so loved this goofy era where teams like Stoke and the likes kicking Arsenal fancy foot foreign teenagers was totally acceptable, and even championed. Look at Jamie with blatent lies. Arsenal got those red cards in the early Wenger era, because they were retaliating from dirty tackles the ref always let go. From the time Wenger took over, and started succeeding with that style off play, Arsenal got labeled some fancy dan team, and it became a thing to damn near trying to kill our players. There was almost a xenophobic atmosphere towards Arsenal for most off the 2000s. Arsenal and Arsene were made to be one off the entities and people that killed English football.
The only sensible comment I've seen. Also how many times have we seen ex players in the last few years admitting that they pretty much kicked arsenal players left right and centre during the austerity years.
United champions, going for a 3rd title in a row, and all the build up is about arsenal and how this cam be a good game for them😂 SKY have hated united for years 😂😂😂couldn’t bear to praise us
He was more pissed of with the fact that everyone kicked arsenal off the pitch but rarely got punished for it.Lets not forget 2 of their players suffered leg breaks within 2 years of each other.
@@caleb.d03 yes sorry I do apologise I got my seasons mixed up for a second. 08-09 we lost 2-0, 3-0 win in 09-10, Cesc the sub came on after the injury he had, lovely free-lick then the run from Walcott for his second, lovely long-range finish from Diaby (loved a goal against Villa he did) right at the end. Freidel was in goal. I was actually in Italy at the time of that game, remember trying to get signal to get the score up 🤣

Giants with zero trophies 😂
Why bother watching it if the goals are cut off
💯 😊
My absolute favourite matches to watch are ones where goals are skipped

That’s literally the point of watching these classic games
can find the goals elsewhere, the point is that you can watch the whole game and not just the goals
@@5wheels178the whole point is to watch the entire match including the goals
The last 5 mins of that game is so much more enjoyable than any football game nowadays
That intro is so nostalgic ❤

Last goal conceded by Man Utd for nearly 3 months in the Premier League
What can we do to support the channel to thank you for your hard work finding all these gems besides liking and subscribing.
Much appreciated 👍

I remember when I used to think the wenger out shouts started in 2013/14, but they started around 2008/09.
The two years before 13/14 were very rough
2008/09 we were still competing but not getting over the line.
it started when we sold Nasri/ Fabregas left for barca around those years
When Arsenal fans had a winning mentality. Good old days.
It started when Cesc and Nasri left
Even Fabregas pre-match wouldn’t be allowed to say what he was saying in today’s game, despite it not being in the slightest controversial.

Wtf
Game management from these players were non existent 😂 though great spirit
Alumunia and Silvestre😂😢
Almunia was terrible GK, but Silvestre was very good defender… when he went to Arsenal, he was near the end of playing career
Skinhead Rooney, what times were these

Saturday 8th November 2008
The days when Wenger would act like his players were the only ones who would get tackled.
