I have to drop a line and thank you for all your wonderful geology lessons. I just did the CSET Science subtest and one of the written response questions was about types of igneous rocks and how the valley of Yosemite was formed. None of the CSET practice book mentioned topics like that in depth but I remember watching your videos. I passed the exam with flying colors and want to let you know how grateful I am that I came across with your great teachings!

I came here when my college resources left me feeling unprepared. I have downloaded the flow chart and am going through the videos filling it out now. Thank you for DEMONSTRATING the difference between those who actually teach, and those who just assign reading and pass out tests. I tremendously value your time and effort. Patreon anyone? This has been a great start into a larger world for me. I just moved to the volcanic island of Saint Lucia for service in the United States Peace Corps and have become inspired to study the local geology. I went to a beach with black sand, that was peppered with tiny crystals. Could it be that this sand is basalt?

Kenya was once a very active geographic timeline... We usually see a lot of Extrusive Rocks near the Rift Valley. In the Southern part of the country, you can see the Long Lava (Yatta Plateau) Flows from the Tsavo National Park's previous eruptions. I am trying to understand where I can get proper sedimentary rocks so as I can look for Early Flora and Fauna.
