Located in beautiful Transylvania County, Dupont State Recreational Forests’ 10,400 acres contains one of the most accessible and densest clusters of waterfalls in the region. Scattered throughout its 90 miles of hiking trails, visitors will be amazed by the splendor of High Falls, Triple Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Hooker Falls, Cannon Creek Falls, Wintergreen Falls, Grassy Creek Falls, and Upper Grassy Creek Falls. More notably, this park has been made world famous by its appearance in several Hollywood films that include “The Hunger Games” and “Last of the Mohicans.”
