I just thought I'd let you know that you're correct. This is the same plastic as the Captain Harlock version. I just got mine out and am comparing the two. The difference is that Harlock's is overall black with red trim. The decal sheet has LOT'S of different markings. You're given Harlock's ,Tochiro's that's red and black and lastly a testbed aircraft for the dimension reaction cannon in overall black with red and yellow flames ! The decal sheet has a ton of different markings that I don't have a clue about. Based on the info I have, the regular aircraft doesn't have the BFG's under the wings. I believe that the wings are different with small wing guns. It doesn't have the skull and crossbones in front of the cockpit. If you're wondering about the several Little Pointy things on the clear spur, those are for the lights on the fun tips. You can cut off the points and replace them with the clear. I'm curious about what some of my markings are. I've got several runs of markings that are variations of the skull and crossbones with the skull wearing Tochiro's hat and the "bird". then there's the crossbones made from a hammer and wrench and Japanese swords. It's also got Gothic fonts in two sizes. Did I mention it has stenciling ? 1/3 of the whole sheet is nothing but stencils ... !!! Any chance you can tell me about these markings ?
+Ennis Anderson Maybe if I can find a scan of these markings or something. The instructions probably tell you which decals to use depending on whose fighter you want to build it as.
+Marco Agostino I'd like to, but I'm too whimsical. I did an unboxing of the Dodonpachi starfighter kit last May, saying that it would take priority, but that never happened! Gosh. I'm flighty.
+stevethefishdotnet Not an unboxing video of them (that would be too much i agree) just a vid of the lot of them, and you could point out some and commentate on them a bit. I find I learn a lot about some of these Japanese kits thru you. Up until I watched your stuff I thought Bandai was the only company that made models in Japan, lol.
Marco Agostino I did a video of my model stash a few years ago. I suppose I could do another, since it's grown. It's a bit embarrassing how many models I'm accumulating.
+stevethefishdotnet lol, I think honestly that's part of the hobby, I myself must have close to 80 boxed kits. the mentality is i need to buy it when i see it becuase i may never see it again.thx! keep up the great videos!
UPDATE: Hasegawa is making model kits that come with resin figures of the Eggplane Girls!
Thank you, my friend. I would appreciate that.

I have the original release of this kit....
Awesome kit there Steve. The character just seems to remind me of the character from The Cockpit series Slipstream?
+ModArt633 It's the same manga artist: Leiji Matsumoto. Hasegawa also has a series of planes from The Cockpit. Very cool stuff!
