I wish I could take out my rant about cheap eyes. There is a place for acrylic eyes, especially when you’re starting out. The reborn market is slow these days, and acrylic eyes can help you lower your price.

I love this! Thank you so much for many great tips and also your honest talk about the eyes.
“You have spent all this time to paint a beautiful baby, all this time to root the lashes, do not cheapen it by using cheap eyes”
    Amen to that!
Thanks again for a great tutorial.

Just ran across this video and this tutorial was extremely helpful. Probably the most comprehensive for rooting open eyed babies that I've seen, as this is something that I still struggle with, so thanks for doing this 🤗

Great tutorial, I use the needle after it breaks because it's thinner than the toothpick. hope this helps. :) Just trial and error. I used a toothpick before to paint the nail tips and such, but now just use the broken needles, not the piece than broke off, the part that you put in the tool. Use the skinny part. It's great for tiny jobs :) And yes, I get prodolls oval glass eyes, I love them.

Great that you found uses for broken needles! I’ll have to try them for fingernails 😊

have you tried using regular fake lashes, the baby whispies, cutting them down to size. It seems a little easier. They are now making ones without that thick base. Invisible base I guess. or the clusters they go as short as 6 mm and they have brown and dark and gray and so on.

Very good tutorial like always!!!!!!! about eyes!!!! i dont like poly glass, but i also can not buy one for 20 euros or more here in Germany, because people dont pay more then 350 euro for my reborns, sad!!!!! ,,,, they dont give oportunite for a new beguing Artist.. and my doll are very well done.

I am so scared to try rooting brows I almost ruined my baby and had to pluck it all out and now she looks like she has a scar above her eye. Do you have a tutorial on rooting eyebrows?
