- A short video tutorial on how this cute stamp set Country Birdhouse was coloured applying the different techniques of watercoloring. The Country Birdhouse is a part of a suite collection that will be coming soon in the anual catalogue.
Materials:
Country Birdhouse stamp set by Stampin’Up!
A5 Size Watercolor Paper, 300gsm, cold pressed
3 Watercolor Brushes: Mop Brush, #3 Round Brush, #4 Round Brush
Clean jar of water
Clean rag

Masking is another great option for the bird to avoid overlapping the lines with the birdhouse, however, I intended to paint the tail and the lower part of the wing over with a dense consistency of turquoise and that would significantly “hide” or cover the lines. Hope this helps :)
May I ask? Why did you not make a mask for the bird and then stamp the birdhouse. You would not yhen the line in the bird. I was just wondering . Thank you , for sharing ❤️ 😊 🎉
Masking is a good approach or option to hide or "mask" certain lines of another image and avoid them overlapping, however in this project, I planned to color the bird's tail and part of its wing with a dense pigment of turquoise :)
