  • A short video tutorial on how this cute stamp set Country Birdhouse was coloured applying the different techniques of watercoloring. The Country Birdhouse is a part of a suite collection that will be coming soon in the anual catalogue.
    Materials:
    Country Birdhouse stamp set by Stampin’Up!
    A5 Size Watercolor Paper, 300gsm, cold pressed
    3 Watercolor Brushes: Mop Brush, #3 Round Brush, #4 Round Brush
    Clean jar of water
    Clean rag
    Various watercolor inks of your choice

    Masking is another great option for the bird to avoid overlapping the lines with the birdhouse, however, I intended to paint the tail and the lower part of the wing over with a dense consistency of turquoise and that would significantly “hide” or cover the lines. Hope this helps :)

    May I ask? Why did you not make a mask for the bird and then stamp the birdhouse. You would not yhen the line in the bird. I was just wondering . Thank you , for sharing ❤️ 😊 🎉

      Masking is a good approach or option to hide or "mask" certain lines of another image and avoid them overlapping, however in this project, I planned to color the bird's tail and part of its wing with a dense pigment of turquoise :)
