Thank you. This now makes so much sense. I guess with these 2 fabric and 3 fabric quilts…I am a visual learner. 😊
I am so happy it helps. Just let me know if you have any other questions. I am very visual myself! :-)
Thanks Connie! It was great to meet you and Mark at HQF. Looking forward to working on the designs I purchased.
So nice to meet you too!!! I am finally getting caught up from the trip. Have fun and let me know if you have any questions!
This was great - I have several patterns and am looking forward to doing them! The pattern instructions are very clear but seeing the video helped tremendously.
Hi Linda, I am so very happy to hear it helped. As quilters we are so visual and seeing it seems to help! Mahalo!
You are so right about visual vs just written instructions. I love hand needle turn. I purchased, years ago, your Halloween pattern and it has many tiny thin lines in the web. I could not figure out how to use fusible only reading instructions. This demo was perfect. I am going to use an embroidery stitch around the edges. Thank you so much. Sandra Crane
Wonderful!, that will work really well! Have fun!
Wow!!! Beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
So glad I found your channel.
I'm so glad! Thanks so much!
Love it!!! I found your instructions very clear. Thank you.
I am so glad this helped!!!
Did the octopus and loved it. But I plan to add a pieced border which will be a while.
I am so happy you enjoyed it. Please share photos of it with a pieced border when you are done. Love that Idea!!!
So pleasent to watch and hear your guidelines! I am so eager to try the method on one of the digital patterns that you have...
I am so happy you are giving this a try. Please feel free to email me if you have ANY questions. They are so fun! Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial. I have several of your patterns and have not tackled any....yet!
I hope this helps Jane. They are really fun to do and really quite simple but different from other processes. I am happy to help anytime! Mahalo!
@@PacificRimQuiltCompany I love elephants, being from Alabama and plan on tackling your elephant design the quilts from now....just in time for football season. I have the fabric, etc. but just couldn’t get the layout clear in my visual mind. Now I have it and I’m excited to make this happen. Thanks again!
Thank you ,Connie. Love your Dogwoods quilt. I’ve just ordered another Elephants pattern as I have not been able to find the one that I already own.🤷🏼♀️ Wonderful video.
Hi Genevieve, Thanks so much! I see you did and it is on it's way. Won't have far to travel!
Can you do it on the sewing machine
Yes you can. I talk about each preparation method. The first is for hand applique and the second is how to do it by machine using fusible. I hope this helps. Mahalo!
I made huge mistake of using a fine point sharpie. I didn't get too far when I switched to chalk. But I got the pattern off center when I was tracing. The chalk came out in wash, but not the sharpie. Sigh.... never a sharpie again!!!!
Oh, my. I have used the sharpie when I am doing needleturn applique however I am extra careful about pinning and taping the pattern and fabric in place before I start. That is the real downside of a sharpie. Glad you didn't get too far.
Love the octopus. No link to pattern.
Here is the link to the pattern: www.pacificrimquilt.com/2faq/#1-octopus
This is not clear at all ?
Do you have one of our 2 Fabric Applique Quilt Patterns? Here is the process in photos that might help. One is for Hand Applique and the other is for Machine Applique. I hope this clarifies your questions, if not please let me know.
