RIP Alan Miller one of the finest keepers I've ever seen at Home Park
Argyle till I die 💚
Love that kit colour scheme. Bright green, black shorts, white socks. Would like to see a return of that
I've got the short from my old man, must say wouldn't mind the full kit 💚
I concur. Everton's kit was pretty smart back then too - it's all very easy on the eye. [I was there, in the Devonport End, aged 14, with my Mum.]
Proper Argyle Green that is
Away kit was White with the badge and Sunday Independent in green
Was q1 and pinned in the fence at the Devonport end, what an atmosphere and not a bad result bearing in mind how Everton were pretty much a top 4 team then
RIP Alan Miller. A wonderful footballer, a wonderful man. You will be missed by all who had the pleasure to see you play
The old ground ... my youth was spent at the back of the devonport end in the mid to late 90s , then moved to the lyndhurst Hurst when I was a big boy .... great days
RIP Alan Miller YNWA
Looked like a mini celtic Park
Remember this well. Packed Home Park, one of the best atmospheres I can remember, and a very creditable performance by Argyle, as others have said we were robbed. Alan Miller, what a goalie he could have been, one of the best I have seen in my 35 years following Argyle.
I didn't believe it was a penalty then and I still don't. I wonder what VAR would have made of it.
Great game, unlucky, remember spillling my drink all over me when we scored, Green Army.
Tasty ground
Good old days of standing and fences
Fences? If it wasn't for the idiot hooligans of the 70s and 80s there would have been no need for fences, and there would have been no Hillsborough disaster.
How was the result at goudison park?
Not sure but want to say they beat us 1 0 or maybe 2 0.
think it was 4-0, Sharp broke Summerfield's leg and apparently never bothered to find out how he was after.
Everton 4 Argyle 0
That was in 2020 now it's 2024 so 4 years
