Thanks for sharing this. Old videos like this are superb. Even if its not your club. Tony Waites the Argyles manager,at the time was a highly underated, and well before his time.
There some great players on show for all the teams shown.

My team Huddersfield Town were rock bottom there... completing what became known as 'The Great Slide'... from Div 1 to Div 4 in three years... I remember some close games with Plymouth in old Div 3 in the 80s. And i think our Skipper at the time Dave Sutton was ex-Plymouth and served us well. He wasnt the quickest Centre Half but he had a heart like a lion...

Ipswich Town fan here, very much enjoyed this video. Must be some very happy and fond memories for those of you that were there that season. Good luck for the coming season.
And RIP Paul Mariner, what a legend!
There's a nice tribute to Paul Mariner here:

"I was lucky to work with great strikers all over the world, Lineker,
Romario, Ronaldo, van Nistelrooy, Shearer, Figo and Paul Mariner at
    Ipswich." Sir Bobby Robson

Brilliant to see something like this. Fantastic memories of some very solid old pros. Still rememer Mike Green's fish and chip shop in Pool.

Billy Rafferty went to Wolves, but sadly, never attained the success he had at Argyle. Good genuine professional player.

You have 1973/74 in the title it should be 1974/75

The great days when pitches were mud baths and football was still a contact sport and social media didn't exist,

The halcyon days of PAFC, sadly on this day (4th May, 2019) they were relegated to League two. 😔

What's the point in having a ''Dream season'' ?? The top teams only buy your best players and it's soon relegation time again! Argyle are in their 'comfort zone' being in the 1 st division and should never go any higher unless we get some super rich Arab buying the club and that ain't happening any decade soon!!
