The best drives are all across the channel, we have driven across Spain France and Italy , this year we are traversing the Pyrenees from west to east and back and then up to Bordeaux and the Loire valley ,I’m afraid drives in theUK are no comparison partly due to congestion, loved the vlog though
@@blackporscheroadster-yw8hb Absolutely agree. Just returned from 3 weeks in southern France, northern Spain and the Pyrenees with our friends in their Emira. It was superb, relatively quiet and fantastic roads. Didn't think we could match that but we're now in mid Wales (around the Mach Loop. Ok so we've been lucky with the weather but the roof has been down on the 718 95% of the time and the roads and scenery have been just AMAZING
I would’ve added the Woodhead pass aswell as the A591, going from Windermere to Keswick. The Lake District has some fantastic views and it is so underrated.
The A272? Isn't that rammed with traffic at any normal times of the day?? I know the stretch from nr Winchester to West Meon Hut is pretty busy at least.
I'm a modest bloke who lives in Missouri USA. The best thing we have around here is "old" 94 which runs from Highway 47 in Marthasville MO to I64/hwy 40 in St Charles. It continues further east of I64 but is no different from any other major highway at that point. The bit west of I64 is full of country back roads that weve and winde thorugh wine country. The map dosn't make it look so great as it dosn't display the elevation changes and the speed limit fine is doubled for going over 35MPH, but no one here in Missouri ever seems to drive the speed limit. But even at that low speed it can be enjoyable.
"as likely to hear about the nc500 as the evo triangle" great except ive never heard anyone mention the "evo triangle" this is in fact the frst time ive ever heard of its existance. the nc500 is waaaaay more famous.
Very poor video. None of these would be in my top ten and the NC 500 is not a road, it is a series of roads. I live in Buxton and the Cat and Fiddle is a horrible road. Full of motorcyclists, annoying hair pin bend where you have to keep changing gear and losing momentum and the weather is almost always bad. It s one of the most dangerous roads in the UK for a reason. The Goyt Valley road on the other side of Buxton is much nicer. Also, the EVO Triangle is one of the worst and most boring sections of road in north Wales. Evo only use it as it is close to the English border. 100s of better roads in mid and north Wales.
For some reason I’ve just remembered the first two rules of Fight Club…

Mid-Wales doesn't have any traffic and is stunning.

The pleasure of driving…does it still exist? Astronomical fuel costs, Police, speed cameras everywhere. Can’t enjoy motoring these days.
Not forgetting the eco loons blocking the roads.
Yes, Scotland
It’s all about beautifully balanced cars, that aren’t actually very fast.
In this day and age it’s all about beautifully balanced cars, that aren’t actually very fast.
Just depends on where you are. Wales and Scotland have beautiful back roads with no cameras

The A40 eastwards from Carmarthen. Very few scameras and normally devoid of traffic with ample overtaking opportunities when required.
A686 from Haydon Bridge to Penrith. B1257 from Stokesly to Helmsley.
B1257 is simply amazing if you can get a free run with no traffic!
I'm surprised I didn't see the A82 and A93. While great, there's more to Scotland than the NC500.
A939 is my favourite in that area.
The A272? Isn't that rammed with traffic at any normal times of the day?? I know the stretch from nr Winchester to West Meon Hut is pretty busy at least.
thanks for telling us which beautiful roads in the uk to avoid, it is much appreciated
Remember the days when you could just go for a drive for the fun of it? Seems like a LOOOONG time ago now doesn't it
Seems like just last weekend. Or the weekend before. Probably next weekend too.
Only got drivers to blame for that. They take it too far and ruin it for the rest.

Black mountain pass in the Brecon Beacons
@@CosmicSeeker69 yeah saw that, such a shame 😢 doing a cruise with some mates in august so will have to be super careful!
260 casualties...... not fatalities....... in 20 years doesn't seem all that much tbf. I'd expect far more than that in plenty of places
Spot on !!!! Thanks 🙏
I don’t know if I should add this one but the B3458 from Newbridge on Wye to Beula in Powys. Cat out of bag😂
Butter tubs in Yorkshire!
Anywhere in the Scottish Highlands is by far the best
You missed some epic north wales roads in there
Some incredible roads in mid and north Wales.
AWESOME AMAZING FANTASTIC ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Is A1 a straight Road?
The Isle of Man isn't in the UK. Just sayin'.
If the snake isn’t on here…
Haha! It is. I live only a few miles away from it.
Amazing ❤
What about Harry's road in the Cotswolds
Oh yeah the b4437, love it!
The struggle kirkstone pass
How many things are ruined by the presence of cameras.....
What about this:

Point to point on the triangle 🤬
