Purely personal opinion here: I saw vibes that he liked Serena, and some that he liked Goh, and that it was mutual. I see Ash as pan, but that's only my own headcanon. (In the expanded universe of my fanfiction series he got with both of them eventually, but I focus on game protagonists so it doesn't come up much. Ash is just *really* hard to write.)

I think Either Ash is gay is up to interpretation I think the reason Ash hasn’t shown any romantic feeling for any of his female companions is because he is still Young and has his sights currently on his goal to be a Pokemon master so he might show feeling for someone when he get Older when ever the Creaters decides to age him up also I’m not much a LGBT shipper but I’m not against it I kinda like Ash X Clemont and Serena x Shauna also I think the Creater have revealed that Professor Ivy was a Lesbian and that what happens between her and Brock and why he get depressed when she is mentions and the creater said the reason they never revealed back in the day was because LGBT was Controversial on TV at that time.
