  • Hey everyone!
This piece is very special to me.
It was designed for a fundraiser auction for the sexual assault support centre in my town. I chose rose quartz as a healing stone for this as it’s known for healing love and giving you strength. I wanted this to be a female empowerment piece and of course chose to do a muted pink pallet.
The base is a wooden round and it’s 18 inches around.
    -prepped with acrylic paint
    -fire glass
    -crushed glass
    -Rose Quartz points
    -tumbled Rose Quartz
    -crushed Rose Quartz
    -Clear Quartz points
    -epoxy resin (resin art flow)
    - Meyspring pigments (rose Quartz mixed with white pearl, white pearl, dazzling diamond)
-pink glitter mixed with paint medium
-rose gold (metallic) by Dianka Pours

Beautiful piece!! You seem to rarely use glitter lines in your pieces. I noticed the material for the syringe you used acrylic paint medium rather than resin to mix the glitter. Can you tell me what benefit that was in creating your glitter lines? Love your work so much!

To be honest, I used paint medium in case I didn’t like it. I never do glitter lines so I was open to the possibility I might be wiping them off. It doesn’t show on camera but I also used it to coat the edges with which resin would probably have slipped off for that. This piece had a timeline and I couldn’t risk needing a full repour! I like to try a bunch of new things anyways, there is never just one way to do something 🥰

Thank you. I rarely use glitter lines myself. Mostly because they spread no matter what I do. @@EllePours
