The only stat that truly matters is how many chances they take though, not how many they create. You don't win trophies or even matches just by "trying" to score, you win them by scoring.

Then in joint 10th in the rankings, three French players each with 12 total attempts, griezmann with 4-4-4 in 5 matches, Thuram 2-9-1 in 4 matches, Tchouameni 1-5-6 in 4 matches.
Foden at 25th with 9-2-4-3 in 5 matches.
Dembele at 29th with 8-1-4-3 in matches
Saka at 43rd with 7 attempts, the only on target shot is his goal, 3 missed, 3 blocked in 5 matches.
Anyway, why am I showing this? I actually wanted to find chances creation% stat but couldnt, but this kinda shows France with most of attackers in the top 10 of shots attempt are attacking. You only have Harry Kane in top 10. France made 56 shots attempt in 5 games but only 15 on target. Now you take into account Mbappe also having to wear a mask is affecting his play.
In the top 50, three English players made for 30 shots attempt, 7 on target with a header for Kane and that nice goal from Saka.
France is attacking. Just cant finish

That's what we did, so far...if I was not french I would say France must loose because of the lack of animation As a Frenchmen, the défense is amazing, they are giving everything for the Jersey . We had flamboyants attackers until recently, but now we are struggling in front of the goal posts, our défense make me happy. For once, they are in the spotlights.

Hello!! Bros but I don't think that what Carvajal did was fair but come on, but was what Toni Kroos did to Danny Olmo fair? The man should of been red carded and sent off (personally think ref didn't do it cause it was he last game and tournament as he's retiring) ,Danny was heading on to a one to one with the goalie, which normally ends in a goal, so could have been Spain 3 and Germany 1 plus let's start counting fouls that the Germans did to stay with their yellow cards against Spain's and all because they were seeing that it was hard for them to play against Spain which meant it was also going to be hard to score and there their only one goal
