At the end it's Bertram Bristol, aka The Mop, playing on the jukebox. (Did they have a jukebox?). He was featured in another episode of The Patty Duke Show.
9:38 - 10:35 This is one of the thing this show did better than most sitcoms; they weren't afraid to have stretches where they weren't going for laughs. If you saw this scene and had no idea what kind of a show this was, you'd think it was a dramatic show. When the show was done in New York, there were many times when the show stepped away from the laughs and allowed for quiet moments like this. I like the interaction here between Martin and Cathy.
At 13:16 , the tall girl who towers over everyone is Marcia Strassman who some years later played Mrs. Kotter in Welcome Back Cotter . She seemed because of that height to more likely to be Jean Byron's daughter .
Same here. Patty had Richard and they could very well have given Cathy a steady boyfriend as well- Chris would have been perfect. His character came across as a real person and not just a sitcom type of boyfriend.
This is painful to watch (I'm half way through). It's Patty as Simon the terrible advice columnist all over again, and it's ruining Cathy's life all over again! Edit: Well, whew! It had a happy ending anyway. (btw, what ever happened to Cathy and the boy next door?
I miss Patty William Jean and Eddie. May they rest in peace
Patty did an excellent job on this show!!!

I just love Cath.
Btw, that’s Binky from season 1 on the jukebox at the end.
@@oldjack-mi8gk yeah, you're right! Great observation!
So did Patty between the two, Patty & Cathy. She favored Cathy’s personality!

Cute episode!
I always wished that they had explored the relationship with Cathy and Chris a little more thoroughly. They genuinely seemed to like each other.
Right? He could had been her long-term bf.
I wished they would have kept up their relationship too
You mean they didn’t? But they are adorable together.
No, this was the only show that they did about their relationship. It would have been nice for Cathy to have a long term boyfriend like Patty did.
@@corrieweiss8313 he’s better than Richard.

I too wish they would have continued with Cathy and Christopher.
He was played by Phil Vandervort. Who would go on to marry Lucie Arnaz.
Lucie Arnaz ..... wow, so she married her brother's lookalike, haha!
Que programa tan hermoso!!
lovely

12:55 you can see the split in the middle

She is dreamy
There really one person 😅
❤️
Martin-- principled but dumb as a post-- almost as stupid as Richard, missing every obvious signal and giving awful advice.
Since when was Martin "dumb"?!? What the hell program you're watching, dolt?! 🤨
