Saw Eric in Brisbane February this year, not only is he a supremely talented guitarist and vocalist, he is just a wonderful human being. This video put him on my radar a couple of years ago, and I'm so grateful that I got to see him live in the intimate venue of the Old Museum in Brisbane.
Eric Bibb has been passed on the botón of playing the blues whether he likes it or not and has now become a legendary bluesman and has become the soul brother number 1 concerning the blues as even he admits that compatibality between the sexes is not a big blues theme. But sometimes you just got to tell the truth the way it is and it May go against the grain but the blues will never ever die so keep on keeping on my brother Eric Bibb xoxo
Saw Eric in Glasgow last night and he was phenomenal. Hadn't heard him before but went along with friends to see Heritage Blues Orchestra but Eric stole the show. What a talent. Big fan now.
You can see the excitement on he face like a kid in sweet shop all us guitar players get this feeling walking into a guitar shop wether your 14 or 79 years old.🎸❤️💙 Love this guy.
I was thinking as he walks in to shop......Eric's gonna be like a kid in a candy shop........then he sings Candy Man song...cracked me up. Eric like the old Gibson guitar still looks ..and...sounds great 15 yrs after this vid.....in fact he gets better each year and he was brilliant when he started.
I went to make a visit to Francois a few weeks ago just before New Years butt he shop was closed for the holiday! Another time, when it is right, I will be back. Almost every other luthier and guitar shop owner in Pigalle said that RF Charles is the place to go...thanks for putting this on my radar Eric

Seriously, I've seen Taj Mahal, I've seen Buddy Guy......But this dude truly rules!! But I heard him only just today on Sirius Radio, Bluesville. Sorry, in last post, I meant to say "Why do we NOT know about this guy......." He must have the worst marketers and Promo on Earth....
